BPC N57 Diesel tuning for the F15 US Spec

Hey guys,

We wanted to share our tuning options for the F10 & F15 platform and tell you a little about the performance gains.

We have tuned quite a few of these now and offer a downpipe as well.

STAGE 1

Our Stage 1 remote tune is designed for stock emission equip N57.
Factory speed limiters are removed
+62 WHP / +69 WTQ

frequently asked questions:

Q: Why go with BPC's stage 1 tune over any other tune.

A: We have countless hours tuning the BMW N57 on our dynojet 224x. We have also tested our tunes both on the street and race track to optimise performance and reliability of your vehicle.
Q: Will I see better gas mileage with this tune?
A: Yes, up to 2 - 3 MPG in part throttle driving. This is based off of our customers feedback.
Q: I want to install methanol injection systems on my BPC Stage 1 Tune, will it be compatible?
A: Yes, methanol injection systems are great for carbon cleaning, however, please make sure that it meets your state emissions laws before

If you have any other questions, please give us a call (919) 501 2090 or email our diesel performance writer Randall, randall@bimmerperformancecenter.com

That?s very good gains! I hadn?t heard of you guys till now, thanks for posting here. I used to have a Audi A6 TDI and also Passat TDI that we?re both deleted.

What gains do you see with the DPF delete?

Is the tune remote or do I need to send in my ECU?

We've been around in the E90/E70 diesel scene for sometime. We were the first US shop to do hybrid turbos / meth setups & break both the 400rwhp & 500rwhp on the M57 US Spec diesel.

We are still in the R&D phase of our N57 downpipe dev right now, we have made a few one off pipes for customers here in our area. I'll have more detail on that later, but we do have a stage 2 software ready to go. I've attached the dyno below.

As for tuning, yes we offer remote tuning. You need to ship your DDE in for the first flash and unlock. Once this is done, we will have a handheld flashing tool coming out later this year for OBDII flash updates

We are also the only US shop that has decoded the EDC17CP76 DDE in the late 15 - 17 US Diesels and offer an off road stage 2 tune as well.

EDIT: one last thing, we do have a hybrid turbo option as well for the N57

If you have anymore questions, please email our diesel performance writer Randall: Randall@bimmerperformancecenter.com

This is great to hear. I have been using RaceChip Ultimate for the past 3 months and the mpg is consistently down by 2- 3 mpg even in Eco Pro driving. If I switch to Comfort or Sport mode I'm sure I will loose atleast 3 - 4 mpg. So I'm yet to see mpg not being affected, let alone improvement in this area I've tried various modes and settings in the Racechip and in every setting I ended up loosing few mpgs.

Also is +62 HorsePower the max you can get? that is 24% gain in HP? I'm willing to try your tune if the numbers are any close to the ones advertised.

I can highly recommend BPC - IMHO they are best in the world when it comes to tuning/flashing BMW. They did my 50i and I can't be happier

Most "boxes" show euro X5 35d / 535d (As you may or may not know the US spec X5 35D & 535D have a signal turbo n57, the same as the X5 30d & 530d) numbers or post engine power gains. Power we show is measured at the rear wheels, so the gains maybe smaller.

Thanks for the reply Bob. I just seen your team is doing very well in the diesel tuning over on e90post. I had JR Auto and buzzken tune my A6 when I had it, who also seem to be popular on that forum.

Is your downpipe also deleting the SCR?

The off road downpipe just removes the DPF, the SCR can be gutted via local muffler shop. We do have a off road mid pipe out now for the e70 X5 that deletes the SCR, and if we can get the ball rolling on the f15, we might look into getting a off road delete pipe out for it as well.

Any updates on this...am very interested in EGR, SCR and DEF delete... I'm sick and tired of all these problems...

Also... little confused...was reading in another posts that we in the US have an m57 engine and not n57? Or is that only for selected years...

My first thought - what a filthy engine bay, second - good luck with your state emission inspection (unless you don't have one).

RaceChip is TUV certified and going to be EPA and CARB certified.
So, I don't think they will support those mods.
You may want to find someone who is willing to go dark when EPA and CARB doing a crack down.

In TX there's no emissions inspection for Diesel vehicles.
