Not really... That's what we're all waiting to see. There is an image posted a few weeks back, which, if it is the final production form, is quite a sharp vehicle.

No option for power comfort seats in the rear like you can get when ordering a 5GT or 7-series?

Any news about the M?

We will not see it before 2014?

Just ordered a new E70 (M Sport) as I'm too impatient - but helped a lot by really not liking the shape of the F15. The bonnet shape looks squashed in and flat , the sides a bit flat too compared to the E70. Hope depreciation is not too bad on the E70 but I think it's a classic so have been wanting one for a long time.

It says the following in German (may be typos):

Fur beide ausseren fondsitze. Lehnenbreite, Oberschenkelauflage. Komfortstutzen (Kopstutzenhohe, Seitenwangen der Kopfstutze) verstellbar.

I am no German speaker but I think it says that comfort seats in the back are for side seats only (which was expected), extending the seat cushion, regulating the width of the seat cushion and the backrest or positioning the headrest, thigh support, headrest side support is adjustable.

In addition it is NOT an option with option 4UB (3rd row seats, so it technically it could be an option as you could stretch out the back seats more in the back) and AV (non-leather seats).

Hope it helps, no time to do the reasearch now what is this option called in the 5GT or the 7.

I think this could be it folks

Personally, I like the current X5 E70.. I hated the rear of the E53.. it just looked clumsy and the body looked too narrow and tall. The current X5 is wider bodied and aggressive looking.

This is driving me crazy. I could wait for the new X5, but it will be more expensive, possible first year bugs, and uncertain release date... Or pull the trigger on a local perfectly specced E70 diesel with only 2k miles, or even an M Sport X3.

That picture above doesn't help!

Just re-reading this page again, is there a heated windshiled/windscreen, or is this the heat reflective climate comfort winshield. I would love a headted windshield, seems odd that in the UK Ford Mondeos have had this very useful feature for years but BMW never caught on....

From what I see it's not heated windshield..

True - and it seems that this feature didn't make it to the US. Strange, 'cause it gets hot here, too.
