Transfer case problem? X5 50i

Guys, about a week ago I noticed that when I drive on the highway for about 40 miles and want to accelerate, I have a slight jerking sensation. It's like I ran over some obstacle on the road. When I accelerate from 0 I don't feel it.I have 94k miles. The oil in the transfer cas was changed at 78k miles.I calibrated the transfer case.On Saturday, I changed the oil in the transfer case again and calibrated it I had my battery disconnected three weeks ago I don't have a check engine light.I connected the scanning device and had a few errors.

Gentlemen, I cleaned the MAFs sensor After starting the car the next day, the car vibrated a little. It calmed down when it reached 70-800 rpm I went out to check whether the car's shaking during acceleration had disappeared It turned out that when I accelerate from zero to it goes smoothly. And when I'm at a speed of about 50 miles and I want to accelerate, it's like jerking the car.I turned off the car and after restarting the engine error message appeared. Does this MAFs sensor have anything to do with the car jerking? Is this a transfer case?

Is it a transfer case or something from the air engine

First thing I'd do is check for intake leaks.

You can figure out if it’s the transfer case by unplugging the transfer case or pulling its fuse. If you still have the issue it’s not the transfer case.

It sounds like suddenly you have a whole bunch of engine electrical issues going on. How old is your battery? Do you have a second battery? How old is it?

Good recommendation above to check for intake leaks. Definitely check the turbo inlet tubes, as they have a tendency to crack where they go into the turbo. That will usually throw a lean code. Leaks after the turbo outlet will usually throw a rich code.

The mechanic suspects some misfire on one cylinder. He will do a test on the road to check which cylinder has the problem. maybe an injector.I will sell the car once it is repaired. I have 94k miles and have had a new engine for 80k miles.I spent a lot of money on them All oils changed several times, transmission oil, transfer case. There are simply too many uncertainties and mechanics cannot repair this engine. This is too much for me

A small update The mechanic replaced two injectors and a turbo air cooling pump.My problem still persists. While driving on the road, at 50mph, when I accelerate, the car shakes.I removed the fuse from the transfer box to test the drive. The problem still occurs I don't think it's a transfer box.The mechanic says it may be something to do with warm air in the engine. He keeps checking the car.Any ideas????

If it were mine, and I didn't do my own wrenching, I'd be looking for a reputable service tech.

I don't do anything myself. Everything is done by a mechanic who says he knows BMWs.I'm worried that he won't find the problem because there are no errors. And the symptoms still appear at 50 mph when I accelerate

Wait…you’re saying you are not getting any codes but it’s still shaking when you try to accelerate?

That’s weird. Really weird. It’s possible you are getting a few misfires and not throwing a code, that’s happened to me before, but only for slight misfire I could barely feel. Then once it was “oh, yeah, that was definitely a legit several misfires when I accelerate hard” I did have codes. So I’d think shaking the whole car would throw a code.

Says he knows BMW’s….hmmm…I had a “says he knows BMW’s” mechanic tell me I needed a new front differential. Was about to order one when I fortunately found out on my own I just needed a transfer case fluid change and recalibration. 🤦*♂️

You say "no codes", so does that mean it's time to throw parts at it?

Gentlemen, if I fix these BMWs, I'll sell them right away. What's more, I recently replaced the engine and now the injectors are failing What else awaits me?The worst car I've ever had.The mechanic is doing what he can with this.car.It's a complicated car.Should I take it to a BMW service center? When I had a problem with the engine, they couldn't even diagnose it properly, they just advised me to replace the spark plugs and coils. It turned out to be no pressure on the cylinders. And there are supposed to be better mechanics there?

Most certainly, but they charge more than the "mechanic" you're using.
