You can get coding done from Ben (r33) since he is in the California area. The alternative is to buy a cable ($20) from either Ben or Antonio from the link in my opening page, and I'll send you the software and help you remotely. Up to you. Good luck.

However, the FOB trunk button is annoying in that you can't just tap the button, you have to hold it for like a half second. Well that is controlled by RC_TIMEDELAY_BOOTLID. Change that to "wert_00" to avoid needing to hold down the trunk button to initiate the opening. That was worth the exercise alone!
Just got this done, works great thank you and opasha both

I added the keyfob trunk release timing to the cheat sheet :

Open Trunk Instantly via Keyfob / BDC_BODY / 30D0 / RC_TIME_DELAY_BOOTLID / change wert_01 (5 seconds) to wert_00 (0 seconds)

So, I have not given up on all of you folks with LED Lighting that want the Anti-Glare system. If anyone that has a European car that has the LED Lighting package where the shadow box/anti-glare feature works please PM me. I would like to simply copy and test your CAF files. There are a few things I would like to test/try with skalberti on his US Led Lighting F15. Let me know. Thank you!

I just finished coding 42pilot's car. Thanks to him allowing me to test this, I finally figured out the feature to disable AUTO START/STOP in ECO PRO Mode . Now you NEVER have to press that button to disable that annoying feature anymore. It will remain off for all modes if you do both of them in the cheat sheet:

Auto Start/Stop set to ‘off’ at every startup for Eco Pro Mode:

BDC_BODY / 3023 / TCM_MSA_ECO_MODE / change aktiv to nicht_aktiv

I've updated the cheat sheet accordingly as well.

Also, thanks to Jerich0, I found another code. It is for your FUEL RESERVE information that kicks in. There are two codes. One kicks in at 50 km (31.07 miles) and the next one (your final warning) kicks in at 30 km (18.64 miles). You can disable the 50km warning if you like:

KOMBI / 3000 / CC_RW_WARNUNG_2 / change to 50_mls to inaktiv - this way you will only get the final warning at 30km.

The final warning code is:

KOMBI / 3000 / CC_RW_WARNUNG / 30_mls - they are hex codes 30km warning = 1E (so you can change your second code value (the one above) to 1E and change the permanent value to something lower if you want. Up to you.

I will leave the permanent one alone for now and only add the 50km one to the cheat sheet since it's better to have that at 18 miles regardless (most systems in cars kick in at this time).

I compared numbers and the _mls value actually seems to code for "miles" because for the CC_RW_WARNUNG (the permanent final warning), there are three values: 30_mls = 30 (miles), 50_km = 32 (miles), 00_km = 0 (miles).

I'd like to hear from anyone that tests this code. I will be coding it for Jeric0 tonight. I will code it on my car (when I get it back ) and report back at what miles it alerts me - 30 or 18.64.

Yep, did all 4 ways (FF and default settings) for FesInitMode and FesLastFunctionInterval. No dice. There's a few others like FesAllowLastMode2, 5, 7 and 9 - not sure what they do. I tried the FesSportMode and it did nothing. I tested on Jerich0's Euro F15.

Question

When I am programming the DVD in Motion on a F15 there is no option to set the SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MAX and MIN to FF - only options are 03, 08 or 00. Is there another way?

You need to create a Custom Werte Value of FF:

I picked up a new X5 xDrive50i on the weekend and started to code it yesterday. The first issue I ran into was an error about CAFD_00000DED_003_013_025 missing. When searching the error the first this I found was shawnsheridan's post on how to inject CAFD_00000DED_003_013_024 into the Hu_NBT ecu. That worked and I was able to code the HU_NBT.

I was doing some more reading today and saw that in a different post shawnsheridan attached downloads to the CAFD file I was missing. Since the _025 file is newer and maybe there is something in it that my new X5 could make use of I am now trying to figure out how in inject that CAFD back into the HU_NBT ECU. I tried that same steps I used earlier but it's not working the same way. How can I use the _025 file to FDL code the NU_NBT ECU?
