Usually it is due to the clogged sunroof drain. Take it to the dealer and have them sort it out.

sunroof seals tend to lose their shape over time, and then leak water in. if the drains get plugged, then the inside of the car gets wet.

Could also be the a/c evaporator drain tube is clogged. If clogged, it tends to overflow into the passenger footwell.

Look at the bottom windshield seal.
Has the windshield been replaced, yet?

I had the same issue about a month ago, turns out the panoramic's drain tubes are to thin and flexible and prone to kinking ,service replaced the tubes with a heavier corrugated type. Then they spent four days drying everything out.

They end up replacing the whole new sunroof, drain tubed for my car. I will have a car back tomorrow. Look like this is a well known issue with BMW.
