Unhappy Spacers/Wheel Installation Shop Recommendation - Greater Seattle

I'm a little bit too clumsy so installing the wheels and spacers by myself doesn't sound like a good idea at all...

Can anyone recommend me a shop that can install 21" wheels plus spacers in Greater Seattle area? I have contacted Les Schwab, Discount Tires, Pep Boys but they all refused to touch the spacers...

Thank you in advance!

I ended up doing it myself. Same issue, no one wanted to touch it due to spacers. Ended up buying a good 3 ton lift and a good wrench. Did it in front of Freight Harbor on the parking lot. Probably in peoples mind X5 isn't the car you should be working on yourself in the middle of a parking lot lol stereotypes - because I got lots of looks - people thought I was either stealing wheels or was so greedy and didn't wanted to even pay for a fix to a mechanic #bmwlife

Cool. Thank you @Dush I might have to go the same route if I couldn't find any shop.

If you don't have the tools and you are near Stew's Self Serve Garage, you can book 30 min there on a lift and do it yourself for $15. I did my swap out there. Super quick and easy with air tools. They have everything you need to do it in 15 min flat. I've used the shop multiple times already for various things on my previous and current car. The guys there are also more than happy to give you guidance too.

Or if you can find a nearby gas station auto repair/tire shop. I bet they'll do it for you. The big chains will always turn you away.

Its actually a very straightforward process, quite easy and fast. I did it myself and it is the first time i ever used spacers on any car.

Thank you all for your recommendation. Seems like a lot of encouragement to do it myself

CeeTeeX5, Stew's Garage looks soooo viable. I live in Lynnwood, so not that far from Kirkland.

r33_RGSport, Taran.J, thank you both! It's a little bit far for me since I live all the way up North but I'll definitely reach out if I couldn't do it myself this weekend or couldn't find a place around here.

bmwx5er I haven't but I tried RNR which is across the street from Tru-Line. They recommended to go to a wheel/tire shop directly since they out-source these kinds of work.

Truline is probably among the top wheel/tire/alignment/suspension shops in the PNW. If you decide not to do it yourself, give them a call, you won’t be disappointed. Achtuning is an Audi/vw shop that sells custom wheels as well, so high likelihood that they’ll be able to do it.

Tru line did my mount and balance on 22s. They did an exceptional job and also used weights that closely matched my wheel finish. I definitely vouch for them.

+1 on Truline. I take my M3 there for alignment prior to track season every year.

I'm giving Tru-Line Bellevue a call tomorrow. I tried loading my wheels on to the car for Stew's Garage and ended up with a sprained wrist - pure stupidity at its best
