Today's update.

Performed the Auto Relearn/Reset and it went steadily all the way to 99% and hung there - when it got to around 50% the wheels in the graphic turned green.

Scan with the TS507WF shows the same - reading pressure from all four wheels but three wheels ID's don't match the ECU.

This X5 method of resetting is a royal PIA compared to my other vehicles.

The fault warning is also off.

Update:

It cost me $100 to remove the non-functional $33 eBay sensors and install the new Autel programmable sensors.

The eBay seller refunded the $33 but still has them advertised suitable for my Make/Model/Year.

Pleased to report that the Autel sensors are fully functional.

Pressures have since been adjusted to whats recommended for the new 20" wheels (Front 35, Rear 39).

You purchased set of 4 sensors for $33 and expect them to work? I'm sorry but I totally missed the price point at the first place but when OEM sensor runs for $120 each, this is kind of high hopes here tbh.

For my BMW K1600 motorcycle the dealership price is $200+ and I have the same brand Schrader sensors installed and working for two years for which I paid $20 each.

For the price that of one OEM sensor you can get four Autel MX+ programmable sensors that work, but the option is always there to pay the OEM markup.

You can always buy brand product like Beru/HUF it will cost you more but you will be 100% sure it works. Not saying you have to go with OEM, my point is that there are options in the middle, you don't have to get the cheapest or the most expensive item.
r33_RGSport got full set for $140
