My conversion is done with only KW or H&R lowering left.
Front & Rear bumper change(paint). Front and Rear X5M splitter Carbon Fiber. Side splitter X5M carbon fiber. Side view mirror X5M carbon fiber. Side vent trim X5M carbon fiber. Carbon Fiber door handles. Muffler Delete with X pipe and Carven R series muffler. Fully forged 22 HRE replica wheels with Toyo tires. Brembo brake kit front and rear. Carbon Fiber roof. 10 year G techniq ceramic coating. Rear window Gloss Black spoiler. Carbon fiber front and rear BMW roundals. The whole project took me almost 2 months and the toughest part was fitting in the pieces when we were fitting the front and rear bumper and side beams. But I ended up just doing the bumper change. Lot of issues with the exhaust because I had the AC schnitzer exhaust. But the good part was that V8 exhaust pipes are the same as F85. I converted it to f85 but it did not work. Too much drone. Then I did the X Pipe and the Carven Exhaust R Series muffler. Might go for catback exhaust in few months. Anyone doing the conversion, always available to help. Yes it was very expensive and be ready for some surprises. Cheers !!! |

Wouldn't it have made more sense to just buy a real X5M?

I did try to find out X5M but the good ones were all above 70k which is way above my budget and it’s also a used one. You never know.
the newer one is off course 125k which is way too expensive. Both of them would give me the same driving pleasure which I get right now. As a matter of fact my current one drives better than any new ones. I just love it 😍. This X5 has been with me for last 5 years and trading in for the same SUV which you already have does not make sense. So it was always worth taking a shot! |

Looks beautiful. I can understand why you did this over buying a used X5M F85. When you own a car and get attached to it, there is joy is just making it better. All the planning and hard work, makes you love the car even more. I’ve been there and I know 😊
Congrats! I bet switching out the front and rear was the most expensive. The interior is still F15. Right? |

I think Bumpers and the Brembo was the most expensive. Yes interior is all F15. Won’t change that because those seats give buisness class comfort. |

Lowered mine with ACS. Happy with the drop. However, they are more expensive than Eibach and H&R.
