I think that's a good deal. As long as you're happy or in my case, the wife, is all that matters. You're always going to have people who say that you could have done better.

renegotiate
you should be able to get 57500 on a custom order and order from a NY dealer not NJ where their doc fee is only $75

Ah thats good to know, well maybe for the next one, this one was closed as a done deal. Sales was pretty firm on the prices for a 2016 vs a 2015, so that might have been the case.

Same discount if I purchased it. The only further negotiated point was then APR which BMW does down to 1.9%. They said this is $500 above invoice.

I'm getting ready to order a 2016 X5 XDrive35i with the following specs
M Sport, Drive Assistance Pkg, Drive Assistance Plus, Lighting Pkg, Cold Weather Pkg, Premium Pkg, 20" upgraded wheels, 3rd Row seat, Ceramic Controls, HK Sound, Rear Manual shades, Adaptive M Suspension.

Not 100% decided on if I should go with Carbon blk or Black Sapphier. Interior, debating between moca and black.

My local dealer says they can give me 7% disc on MSRP. I can add the $1500 Option credit on top of that. Dealer fees in GA are pretty high $699. Out the door it will be about 8% disc on MSRP.

I wanted to do PDC (I did it with my 335d and loved it!) but they are saying its going to be hard to get a spot for it.

What do you guys think of the deal? Should I go for it? Can I do better?

I have black sapphire and would never get it again. It never really sparkles, jet black is my favorite. I would do carbon and mocha. Yes, that is a good deal. I could get $6k off a 35i.

good deal as CA have a lot of good companies, so the dealers are also flexible for the price. congratulation.

Hey guys, I need your help in regards to my custom build which is a 2015 BMW x5 diesel coming in this month. I only got 4k off the MRSP and feel that I can get more but the dealer is reluctant at the moment. The newer 2016 X5 diesels are coming soon so there should be more room to spare.

My build is

BASE MSRP
$57,700
xLine$2,500
Mineral White Metallic$550
Terra Dakota Leather$0
Fineline Oak Wood Trim$0
Cold Weather Package$550
Driver Assistance Package$1,400
Driver Assistance Plus$1,900
Premium Package$2,550
Dynamic Damper Control + rear axle air suspension$1,500
Space-saver spare$150
Destination & Handling:$995
Total MSRP as Built $69,795

The sale price is $65795. Let me know what you think.

I don't know if I'd agree with Jet black. Its too plain for me. I've owned a 3 series coupe that was black sapphire and liked it very much. My dealer has a carbon black, Mocha M Sport so I'm going to go see it and I think I'm leaning towards that combination.

The $699 DOC is just killing us here in GA. 3 years ago when I got my sedan it was $599. Thats ~17% jump and they don't do anything else for that extra money.

Full transparency, I don't know carbon black, I just know I wouldn't do sapphire.

seem you only got 5.8% discount, try to get it to 7% discount, as I can get the 7% discount plus 500 rebates in my city but I still does not put the order and what's my expectation is %9.
