Anyone have any idea as to how to get this fixed ?
I have the same situation and I read thru the whole thread and could not find the solution. Is it possible to have the welcome "splash" screen finish before going straight to Nav or other menu? Change the duration? Any solution?

Thanks

I just coded the m splash screen last night too. It was coming up each time I coded something and the i drive rebooted itself, but today when I was out driving I could not get it to come up again. Whether I just hit the start button, or start the engine, it would go straight to the menus. I disabled i drive warning message too and I wonder if that has something to do with it?

BTW I also tried to code the M logo for the HUD start up logo and was not successful. Each time I changed the BMW_LOGO setting, it would give me error on i drive and I had to reboot it. Any one successfully change it ?
I'm running E-sys 3.26.1 psdzdata 56.4

After unlocking the doors, you need to start the car within 20 seconds or 15 seconds, not exactly sure, but you need to start it within that time frame. Then only splash screen shows up. Otherwise, you will be shown Menu directly.

Does the same apply if we didn't code it with the M splash screen?

Can I use the same programming cable from a 2013 X3 on a 2016 X5?

I'm pretty sure I can, but wanted to double check. Also, could someone send me a link to the latest required software. My X5 was just built on Sept. 16th.

Thanks.

I have a US spec F15 and I coded (among others) the following:

Rear Fog Lights (hoping to get a Euro spec Head/Fog/Rear Fog Light switch)
Brake force (blinking)

I later read in another thread that Rear Fogs will not work with our cars because of tail light and wiring issues. In which case I would prefer the Brake force option rather than Rear Fogs. My question is this:
1. If I leave the coding already done, what will happen? conflicts? errors?
2. Do I need to revert coding done for rear fogs? If yes, what are the default values?

Thanks

I am trying to code my F15 2014. I have been able to code a few options but I am having problems with my BDC_BODY. When trying to Edit FDL I don't get descriptions (just dots). I am using E-Sys 3.26.1 with psdzdata lite v56.4. What could be the issue? Thanks.

Are you setup as follows?

E-Sys Launcher Car Series = F15 (NOT F25)
E-Sys Connection Target = F25

Thank you Shawn. That could be it. I am set up as F25 on both places. I will try it tomorrow with the right set up. Thanks.

Right, and that will never work as F25 has no BDC module, hence your error.

Brake force coding has previously been known to cause major issues. You've already coded it... are you not experiencing errors?

My F15 is still under 300 miles and am going slow during the break-in period. Haven't done any panic braking yet.

What I've done this morning was to VO code BDC_Body to bring everything back to original, then FDL coded the features I want.

40e coding

Hi all. I had full intent to code my E70 diesel but never got around to it. Trading in on a 40e, hoping to get delivery in 2-3 weeks. Definitely want to code this one this time around.

Anyone know or theorize as to any difference in the 40e vs 35i? I'm guessing for most code-able items it likely wouldn't matter. I'm. Lately looking to cod the basics - startup legalese, rear fob close, signal flashes etc.

With regard to coding a 40e, can brake regen be coded to be stronger? I'm so used to strong brake regen on my i3, and I'd like it to be stronger on my 40e.
