Key Fob Wear and Tear

I? have a msport key fob that's pretty beat up. The bmw logo in the middle is pretty much gone. Is there anything I? can do to fix it or can I? buy another key fob without much hassle?

I don't see why you couldn't buy another from the dealer and have them program it. Or possibly buy a used one off ebay and try to swap the casing.

Buy another key. Or just live with it.

Are the cases even swappable? I did this for my amg once or twice over the 5 years I owned it. Loved getting them cheap off eBay and making it like new again without dropping $100s just for a few scratches.

This is pretty much what I'm wondering. You can do this with the e9x key fobs.

I have this one. It's silicone. Has the BMW logo in the middle. Protects and feels good.

I received my new key fob today (ordered the one above off eBay). Anyone know how to take this thing apart? I have the battery cover off, but don't know where to go from there. It seems fairly delicate and I don't want to force anything... thanks!

Edit: I was able to disassemble the new key but the old key is giving me issues. Any tips?

Same here. Got new key apart. Sad to see it's plastic silver backing vice the heftier metal on my original fob. Got the battery out but can't get it apart to get electronics out
