Yes, he does . The whole ECO PRO Sailing and LED High Beam and Low Beam switching times were his coding in r33's cheat sheet.
Looks like I have some more changes to make

So, with this coding, @Catflap was able to enable the car to shift into neutral whenever the car went above 40mph (if I recall correctly) in Eco-Pro mode. The car automatically does this and shifts back into gear (Drive) when you accelerate or brake. It's very interesting coding and supposedly saves gas and obviously makes the car very quiet while you're coasting because the RPMs drop in neutral. Here's the thread where it was discussed: http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...php?p=16440147. Here's @Catflap's video:

Would like radio to turn off when door opened not when you lock it.

Would like car to remember last setting for suspension, prefer sport to
comfort, but it defaults to comfort after switched off.

Would like rear lights on with daytime running lights.

Is this all possible? I see from R33's cheat sheet DRL codes, but couldn't see the otters.

I would assume specialist will have them already, but could you guys point me in the direction in case they don't?

Stuart.
Hey Stuart,

These are possible all directly shown in @r33's cheat sheet:

1) Power folding mirrors upon lock with key fob
2) Radio and GPS off when engine is turned off and driver door is opened
3) Rear DRLs on with the front DRLs

I don't recall nor know anyone that has done the suspension coding so I cannot comment on that one. If your guy is good, he should be able to follow the cheat sheet without issues because @r33 has done a great job on listing where everything is. I have coded majority of those features in my car and they all work great. Good luck!

Yea, I am still digging around on that feature. But, looks like there is none, unless you have the M car's module where you can configure between M1 and M2 button.

Yeah, I figured. Suspension mods wouldn't be that easy...if they were, someone would have messed something up by now and caused all sorts of havoc on their vehicle if done incorrectly.

Thanks for the reply guys. Booked in next week, will let you know how I get on.

Looks like I'm going to be disappointed though, the suspension one is the big one for me, does my head in pressing the button every time I drive off. When I forget at the first bend I nearly go off as the steering is so light and indirect in comfort. Sport is just my personal preference.

Oh, I know how you feel. I love Sport mode the best as well. I'm a tight suspension kind of driver. I had asked about this question a long time ago for the Sport mode being the default but there was no coding for this. In all honesty, it's just one button you push and you're good to go though. You just have to remember .

I had uploaded the wrong VO Coding PDF before. The right link has been posted. Thanks @cy07 for catching that .

OP edited to better explain Anti-Dazzle coding. If you don't have the KAFAS2 folder, don't be alarmed. You just need to code FLA3 folder instead.

Whatever was the last driving mode used should be remembered on the next power up.

Even the e70 with its limited sport/no sport driving mode, the setting was remembered on power up.

@skalberti, @shawnsheridan, @wdimagineer, I pretty much read this entire thread that all 3 of you were a part of. Towards the very bottom, member Motorboat411 figured out how to use the Anti-Dazzle without having HBA (single stalk instead of dual stalk that comes with HBA). This was his comment saying that he added HBA to the FA and removed 8S4 only since he did not have 5AP. I don't know if he VO Coded anything else, but I assume BDC_Body/FEM_Body would be necessary. If HBA is activated, then does that mean FLA3 shows up in the ECU folders and can be VO Coded? He said he got the A in the blue high beam icon in his cluster and the beams were working as they should even though not as individually dispersed as the LEDs. I'm just trying to understand this capability/hack for the Bi-Xenon package. Here are his exact words:
Motorboat411
CONFIRMED WORKING on a 2014 F10 with Xenon Lights and No HBA....and it's freaking awesome!

FrogmanF30
How does the car know to turn on the no-dazzle mode without the HBA switch?

What FA codes did you remove? (5AP and/or 8S4)?

Or are you just getting the enhanced variable light distribution without the high beams coming on?

Motorboat411
I coded HBA to be always on, there is a thread on it.

As for dazzle-free, I did not have 5AP code in FA, just the 8S4 which I removed and I added 5AC (HBA). It is proper dazzle-free HBA, of course not as elegant as LED headlights - since those have 2 separate lamps in each headlight unit. When the dazzle-free HBA is active you see the headlight beam icon with "A" on it and also the usual bluish/purplish high-beam on icon. When a car approaches you in the opposite direction, the system disables high-beam on left side but keeps the right one active. As soon as the car passes the left light goes back to high-beam. I also tested the HBA feature while driving behind another car, I couldn't tell if it created a good tunnel because it's raining right now, so hard to make out the light pattern.

I've done some driving on several types of roads and didn't get flashed once, so that's a good reason to keep it coded

That's not how it works for the F15. It goes into Comfort always automatically upon each engine start. The only thing remembered for Comfort mode is whether or not you turned the Auto Start Stop button on or off the last time. That stays put for the last setting.

Right ... I'm saying that's how it ideally should work to satisfy drivers, rather than how it works today.

Ah ok, gotcha. Yes, I wish it was. Why BMW decides to retract certain convenient features is beyond me.

Hey Omar!

I guess it's possible to code this, but I wouldn't want the HBA on all the time. I'm betting you'll tick a lot of people off driving around town with it. I still say a lot of these people that have coded the anti dazzle HBA, so not have the full functioning euro HBA. I coded 535 a year ago and it worked perfectly. I got a software update several months back and haven't used my HBA since I've just been driving in town. I finally used them when testing my X5 and they weren't working as they did initially. So I pulled the service records and sure enough in the software update they reprogrammed the TMS ecu's which control the LEDs. So I went back through and sure enough there were things there that weren't there before. I'm still doing more work on this, but VO coding appears to only partially enable the GFHBA. There are several lines that have US instead of ECU after removing 5AP and 8S4. So it appears now after BMW made changes that you have to VO and FDL code to get the GFHBA to work fully as it does in Europe. I bet there's a lot of guys blinding people on the roads right now.....

Ah, gotcha, thank you . I mean I don't really need this feature because my vision at night is pretty solid and I only use high beams as necessary (and the current Bi-Xenon beams do a great job when I need them). It's not worth the hassle to go through all this and strike-out .

Just getting all the pieces in place in preparation for some coding. Where can I download the EDIABAS.INI as mentioned in the step by step coding guide, is it still necessary?

What about the batch (.bat) files that April 1 makes reference to, are they required too? Given that the software versions mentioned in that guide are quite old i'm curious if the installation process has changed at all for the newest versions or if I need to get all the same versions as mentioned in the guide.

I'm want to make sure that I don't screw anything up. Thanks.

You don't need it. EDIABAS is an old diagnostic tool...ESYS has a built in diagnostic tool for clearing codes now. There is no .bat file to worry about. That was just info regarding if you have a patchless token solution; Eli (token master) gives you a .jar file and a .est file. You have to edit that Esys.bat from that location using NotePad (windows text application with turquoise icon) and then just edit it so that it points to the right location of where that .jar is located). Most however get the patched token so all you need is the .est token file and just direct the folder location to it and that's it.

@ramsal, if you run into any difficulty, PM me.
