Do X5M kidneys fit the standard X5?
I would like to get black kidneys, but think that the chrome rim looks better. So I am left with the X5M bispoke kidneys. Does anyone know if they fit on a X5 M50d?

It has an X5M badge on the right side. Please do not install that on your car. Have them custom painted or done however you want contact the fellas over at iND

Damn, I thought it was a M like the other bits, but now that you say, it says X5 M. Do you think this is something that would come off? I have been looking for a new grille from the beginning, but the black grill IMHO looks like it is a separate piesec, and the chrome/black grille is the most basic grille that is available, so it doesnt fit either. My current Grey grille looks off, because I have the M Performance mirrors, diffusor and wing, everything black and grey. I am not going to say it is a X5M. The car is a M50d and has M badges all around and it clearly sais M50d in the back, I honestly dont think anyone would consider that posing, atleast I didnt even think about it until you said so?! It doesnt help painting the grille, when the M grille is the only available the bispoke grill! Anyone else have an opinnion? I would think to pose, I would have to remove the diesel badge from the back... AARGH finally thought I had this cracked, but wouldnt want to be labled a poser, because of the grille...In my opinnion the chrome/black double spoke grill looks best: |

Yes it looks way better, and there is also a true issue with the other grilles inc. M Performance, it is not even availalbe for cars like mine, as I have night vision, but the X5M also has the night vision option!

It's removable I recall, but will leave a black plastic outline where the badge mounts. I don't think there is a way to cleanly remove it.

Sorry I did a search here and on bimmerfest and couldn't find the thread but I saw it the other day where someone replaced it with a ///M X5 grill and removed the X5 from it so that it only displays ///M. It looked very good too.

Is it just me, or do the single fin grills look better?

Can you post a close up with a better camera (or camera phone)?

RGSport on here also sells a generic "double slat" version of the kidney grilles that doesn't have the X5 M logo. You might want to consider that, too.
