Camera-based system malfunction
Has anyone seen this error "Camera-based system malfunction", came up today and my auto high beams stopped working. Every time I push the button to engage auto-high beam this pops up on the dash.
This is in a 2016 x5. am i doing something wrong ? Looked over manual and didn't find anything useful. please advise, should i take this to the dealer ? or is there an easy fix that i am overlooking ? Thank you.  |

Looks like something is covering up your front cameras.. Inspect them and wipe it clean with a microfiber cloth... I've seen several threads on this where owners experience this malfunction or error during hard rainstorms.
