I am looking to buy a 2016 X5 M sport in toronto. Most dealers are willing to reduce 5% off of MSRP but they want to fight if you go lower.

Has anyone received a better deal and at which dealer.

Thanks

Email bredwood@performancebmw.ca (Bruce Redwood, Performance BMW in St.Catherine) and tell him Bill from Mississauga referred you.

Seems like a pretty good deal, I'd be happy with those numbers. Who is your dealer, and how'd you get them down even lower? Did they move on the selling price?

Thanks

Does anyone know if the $1500 loyalty credit continues through December? Haven't been able to find much. Thanks!

jzmundy, I was just told that 1500 is continuing through and was told that the program is exactly the same, although I am wondering if Residual and MF has changed to my advantage. For now I am told numbers are exactly the same although I am hopeful it may come down a bit.
Wondering if anyone else knows about Residual and MF for December

I know the $1500 option credit is continuing, but more concerned about the "undocumented" $1500 loyalty credit for current BMW owners. Will try to find out from my dealer this afternoon.

Looking at bmwusa.com, the residuals have not changed (58% for 36mo 10k mi/yr).

To follow up on this: confirmed with my CA and finance manager that the $1500 loyalty credit is still available for December on the X5.

I also confirmed, all incentives remain the same and considering they are the best they have been all year that's great news.

My 2016 x5 35i

Imperial Blue
Mocha Nappa Leather
Luxury Line
Cold Weather Package
Driver Assistance Package
Driver Assistance Plus
Mocha Interior Design Package
Premium Package
Fineline Oak Wood Trim
Rear manual side window shades
Multi-contour seats
Ceramic Controls
Harman Kardon surround sound system

MSRP = 70,070
Edmunds Invoice = 64,915
Neg price with incentives = 62495

I leased it with full MSDs down with a 1500 cap reduction due to UDE and test drive to end hunger.

Monthly payment of $648 with just taxes and fees upfront ~3k. What do you guys think?

I was told the Loyalty Cash wasn't available. Does it depend on when you take delivery of the vehicle and/or if you finance?

How close are you with your CA/dealer? I don't mean to play devil's advocate, but it could be that they're pocketing the $1500 incentive and telling you that it's "not available". I've confirmed with my CA, finance manager, and a second dealer from another forum with whom I have no relationship. I will be leasing the X5.

Thanks. I confirmed it with a couple other dealers too. From your comment, it sounds like the incentive money comes from BMW NA and not out of the dealer's pocket. So, unless they are pocketing it, why would they mind giving me both incentives?

Correct - as I understand it, both the option credit and loyalty incentive are essentially deposited directly into the dealer's account from BMWNA upon the sale of the vehicle. If the dealer plays dumb toward the loyalty incentive (which isn't advertised on BMW's US website) and claims it isn't available, they are making an additional $1,500 on your deal by not adjusting your cost.

What exactly is the locality incentive and what are the eligibility requirements? If you own a BMW can you get this credit if you pay cash?

As far as I understand, the incentive is valid for current BMW owners (or immediate family/household members) who finance or lease through BMWFS. I'm not sure that it would be applicable in a cash purchase as BMWFS would not be involved.

EDIT: And currently only available on X5/X6 models.

Those numbers look reasonable from what I have seen here. You might be able to get another 1000 off at most.

However given we are right at December, come January that number would be lower but some of the other incentives gone.

So for a lease, not a bad price at all.

Hello,
Is $50K a good deal? Am I risking it with a Diesel engine in terms of reliability and repair costs down the road? Should I get an extended warranty?
Or does it just make sense to lease it considering high residual value?

2015 BMW X5 xDrive35d
PREMIUM PACKAGE
3RD ROW SEAT -inc: 3rd Row Seat Climate Control; Rear Axle Air Suspension
DRIVER ASSISTANCE PACKAGE -inc: Rear-view Camera; Head-Up Display
REAR-VIEW CAMERA
SPACE-SAVER SPARE
ALPINE WHITE
IVORY WHITE; NAPPA LEATHER UPHOLSTERY

Sorry the dealer gave me wrong info. $50K was the base MSRP. With options and after discount the final price is $57K which is not what I want to pay for an X5. I have decided on XC90 as I get more for my money.

Jino313, how did you get from 65945 to 53500
considering incentives $4K looks like sale price is $57500 which is about 3K below wholesale price.
Do you mind sharing who is your dealer?
