OK - that cinches it then. I was looking at tossing 275's on some 10" wheels, but your 285 looks about as stretched as I like it, so that would be a negative on the 275's ghost rider. The pattern is stretched....... =)
Thanks, that helps a lot. Are they 40 or 45 series? Not too worried about the speedo being off (mines seems to be about 2 mph slow anyway) but I worry about them sticking out too far for my taste and ride comfort. Want to keep as much side wall as I can for ride quality. I'm old enough that my butt means more to me than my ego........

I believe you're referring to the MPSS's I had on the 375s, they were 285/35/21 and 325/30/21. Currently I have a set of Yokohama BluEarth winter tires that are the same size. Keep in mind I am running 5/15mm spacers as well. |

275 has a tread width of 10.8 so I thought that extra .4 on both sides would give it the look I like - but looks like I was wrong. I'd hate to be north of a grand in to find out I hated the look. 285 is 11.2, so that should get me there I think. I just worry about the side wall options and what I will give up in ride. I'd ditch the RF's though, so that should help level the playing field a little too...I hope. Ditching them made a world of difference on my E85 for sure - night and day. Decisions, Decisions.........

Looking through your posts....not finding a shot with the wheels straight take down the side do you? I know you have a spacer in there, but it'll give me some idea. You have a few that are SOOOO close but not far enough I can see the wheel/tire. LOL!

OK - don't sweat it, just wondered if you had one at hand. Don't worry about it.
Thanks for the info - at least I got one size marked off my list! lol

Northeast is horrible, especially having Carbon Black its a pain to keep clean, need to move to TX, maybe Plano or Austin V's is one of the cleanest White X5's I've seen, anywhere. Love it... |

I recently moved here from southwest Germany, where I had a BSM F16 so I know the struggle all to well. It was impossible to keep her clean and looking fresh.
I am enjoying the weather for sure! The X5 has been parked for a couple months for the most part, with the occasional trip to dinner or run an errand. Thanks for the compliments. |

Violator looks great! Do you have that carbon lip on the back of your car too (diffuser I think it's called)? If so where did you get it and how much? I think I might add that to mine. I have the same look as you. Not sold on the fender trim. Might go m badge and add later.

Thank you sir!!! The side by side with tallguy shows it perfect. I assume you have a 5mm spacer on the front and he does not? Great comparison for my project!
