Owners manual diesel
I am considering buying a used X6 40d X16 diesel (2017), so I am looking for the owners manual and technical documentation in English to download.
Also, I would appreciate the maintenance/service schedule. I managed only to find USA documents, that doesn't apply to European diesel models. Please help. |

The maintenance/service schedule is built into the iDrive system. It is your CBS (condition based service) info that appears on the iDrive screen and your instrument cluster. And regardless of model/model year...all f15/f16 X5s & X6s will have the same setup and instructions in the owners manual...even a 2016 or 2018 f15 X5 model year (prior/proceeding model years). Since there wasn't really an LCI (life cylce impulse...aka facelift) the design layout is the same across all the models.
The biggest difference is probably the upgrades to the iDrive system which starts with NBT iDrive (ID4)...then evolves through ID5/ID6...and again, you can find downloadable versions of the NBT owners manual which goes across multiple model platforms in regards to operational functions. Also do a google search for the 2017 NBT owners manual. Again, this manual is used across multiple model platforms as long as it is the same iDrive iteration...the instructions will be the same.

Around July 2013 (start of the 2014 model year)...BMW changed the oil change interval from 24 months/15k miles to 12 months/10k miles:
