35i and 35d msport

I still haven't ruled out the 50i, but since this is going to be my wifes car I am slowly moving away from it.

With the exception of one being diesel, is there any real difference between the 35i and 35d?

It doesn't seem like one comes with more standard options than the other unless I am missing something. The only thing different that pops up on the build site is that the 35d with msport has a free option for adaptive m suspension. Does that come standard on a 35i with msport? Or is that just not available on the 35i?

Adaptive M suspension does not come standard on 35i with M-Sport. It is a $900 option that does not show up online.

Adaptive M Sport suspension is not a no cost option on the diesel either. It's a $900 option in addition to the M Sport pkg. Just ordered it this week.

I wonder why it says $0 on the build site, you would think BMW would dedicate someone just to the build section of their website to make sure everything works right. I had issues like these when I ordered my 6 series too.

...wait, so I ordered the M-sport with Dynamic Handling Package. So I do not have the Adaptive M suspension? even though configuration clearly shows that it is checked and at 0$ ?

This doesn't make sense. I am sure I can hold BMW responsible for it if that's the case.

It shows as $0 on the checklist but once you check the box for the option on the website, you'll notice that your order summary on the right lists the $900 option price. The BMWUSA site is very glitchy.

Double and triple check your VIR from your dealer. BMW places disclaimers all over the place. You won't be able to hold them responsible. The burden is on you and your dealer.

I just read in a Sticky thread that if you add DHP to Msport, the adaptive m suspension is being added by default. Is that true or am I missing something ?

The price of the DHP reduces by 900 if DHP is added to Msport package, DHP is the more sporty suspension. If not, you have to tell your dealer you want the adaptive M suspension which comes with a 900 price else you get the standard suspension
