F15 xdrive 3.5i 18-20's

Hi I am looking to move to 20" 469's. Dealer says I need new wheel arches at $100 + each. Can anyone confirm this who has made the upgrade?

Can't edit title. Supposed to say F15 xdrive....
Correct. Unless if you go with non-stagger setting, which is front and rear the same width.

Thanks guys. So the front 20's fit on the rear without arches?

Yes, that's correct. I have a non-staggered 22x10 setup on all four. Technically, you can still do it without the arches if you go staggered. It won't stick out that far.

For comparison, @cy07 has 22x10.5 front and 22x12 rear with spacers as well with his flares. He has no issues.

I can't code. I can't mod. It is about the only thing I could do that is somewhat useful.

Anyone else think it was genius sales strategy putting the flared arches on the M sport even with the skinny 19's? They made us all want to upgrade to 20's or bigger anyway I swore I wouldn't, then did a couple months after getting the car..

What did you go with. Can't decide 20's or 22's. Any feedback is welcomed. I think 22's look better but a bit worried about ride comfort......
