New wheels - 22" v 20": Input please
Considering Forgestar F14s for my '14 X5 50i MSport. Although I was thinking 22s would fill out the wells nicely, I now realize that given the limited tire size options, the 325/35r20s are the biggest option available in terms of overall diameter/height (22s are all 25 or 30 profile). Further the concavity of the Forgestar F14 in the SDC 20" is meaningfully deeper than the deep concave 22" (pics below). All that said, something doesn't feel right about getting new shoes and staying with the same diameter as the OEMs. It would help if anyone out there might have pics of the F14s SDC in a 20 x 12 mounted on an X5 or x6.
By the way, I'm not willing to solve this dilemma by droppin' >$3k on wheels alone. Pics: Forgestar F14 DC in 22s mounted vs Forgestar F14 SDCs in 20s unmounted... Last edited by sschultz007; 12-15-2014 at 07:47 AM.. Reason: adding pics |

Call up Innovate Autoworks just to confirm what they used/did. It looks like they put 20x12 Forgestar on an X5M:

1) Copy image location of the pictures and press the yellow mountain image button when you GO ADVANCED in the message box. Paste the image location here. It will give the parameters as such: 2) go to postimage.org, tinypic.org, upload to your photobucket or whatever account and copy the "direct link" for your image into that yellow mountain box.

Looks like the 22" picture is on the Semi Concave. But, I might be wrong.
I've seen the 20" SDC in person, but never seen 22" DC.
