Options in the list, not present in car?
Hi,
I played around using E-sys and found the complete list of options that my car came with from factory. All options that supposed to be there are in the list. But it also found an options called "8TF - Active Pedestrian Protection". This must be the auto brake system if a pedestrian gets in front of the car while its moving? Isn't that dependent on the car having a KAFAS? Has anyone experienced the same issue, that the options list contains features that actually aren't present? Regards, Niclas |

This is part of Drive Assistance Plus (ZDB) and does not require any additional hardware to warn you, it will not brake for you, it will prep the brakes and warn you visually and audibly. If you have Drive Assistance Plus with Active Cruise Control, then I believe it does apply brakes for you just as it does to prevent collusion with another vehicle in front of you. Now, if you do not have ZDA+ZDB, then it's really weird because you are not supposed to have 8TF. And I am not sure what Drive Assistance Plus includes in UK, but I guess it's same as USA..
