You noticed that when you were stationary, right?

Check again when driving (just don't crash)

They should turn both sides in stationary as well

yes they should.
i dont think the motors are gone because they still turn to the right and back to center.

if someone knows where in bimmercode could i check and fix that please help or otherwise i'll have to go to bmw. and if so - should i be worried about the coding i've done so far such as switch off cornering lights, fog lights from bulb to led, change ambient colour and welcome lights? would the dealer give me problems about that and eventually try to void the warranty?

I coded the following, in order of significance:

1. CarPlay full screen - love it!
2. Mirror open/close - remote, comfort access
3. M design interior lighting- cool
4. Tailgate open and close with remote
5. Camera on at all speeds
6. Reduce speed to 5MPH for blind spot detection
7. Turn off seat belt and other alerts
8. Change chime to Rolls Royce
9. Open and close windows with remote
10. HUD displays to show more content…

Bunch of other smaller things like M splash screen and tire pressure and temp, and M Sport colors display on iDrive screen etc

Took around 30 mins or so…after all the changes I wonder why BMW didn't just makes these default!

Sorry. Full screen CarPlay was not Bimmercode. It was a patch on iDrive - but makes such a difference that no reason why BMW did not offer it as an update. It is something Tesla would do…

Lemme start with sorry for the duplicate post as I just posted the below on the general forum before seeing this thread.

Hoping someone can help me out!!

Hey Guys,

New to the F15 Platform and X5 Forums here. I'm a long time BMW fan and have had many different BMWs over the years.

I recently purchased a 2015 X5 50i M Sport for Daily driving duties. Last night I attempted to code it with Bimmercode, I would not even attempt to do anything in Expert mode. With each coding the app triggered an ECU reset and with it came a bunch of errors (as to be expected) all of which would disappear after a few seconds.

After coding my BDC Module though my air ride dropped all the way down and will not come back up. I've driven it a few miles, let it idle, let it coast, shut it down locked it and unlocked it, got in the back seat, got in the trunk and then finally reverted all my coding back to the original backup files and did all the above again.

I'm thinking the issue may have started because when I was coding I was on some snow and the truck was not level, Can it be that during the ECU reset the default height changed?

I am going to try pulling the negative terminal on the battery and letting it sit for a minute.

Any other ideas on how to reset this? Does Bimmercode have an option that anyone knows of the reset the air ride?

It’s cold on the east coast...so to rule out a discharged main battery...were you hooked up to a battery charger while you were coding? If not, how much time did you spend coding while running off the battery...or did you have the engine running?

Again just asking to rule out a deeply discharged battery.

I don’t have air suspension so I have no perspective of what ECU that would be controlled by. But if you were in the BDC module...I believe the Integrated
Chassis Management (ICM) is a module that deals with the suspension.

You can simply open the app and run through the ECUs listed to see what systems they operate in the car.

Also check iDrive to see if you can control any suspension settings there. Sometimes coding can make changes to previous settings in iDrive.

Instrument panel backlight during the day

Hello all. I searched with no luck. Wondering if anyone with the standard X5 instrument cluster has had luck coding the orange backlit instrument to stay illuminated during the day with the headlights off? I see other wanting their cluster to stay white during the day but mine is either off during the day or orange at night. Thanks in advance.

Pre-LCI or LCI?

Search for orange and grau.

Effect can also vary depending if switch is in Auto or Off. You should leave in Auto and then can toggle DRL off if you do not want them.

Hi, I have a 2015 F15. I`m conecting to F25 not direct. I`m using esys 3.27 with PSdZData Lite v.4.32.33

I am trying to retrofit the ambient light, but when I try to insert the FA "4UR" it fails me when calculatingFP.

Code:
 No FP could be generated from FA "". [c002]
Not all elements of the FA were found in the FA2FP:SALAPA 4UR [72]
The equip

Code:
 1CA,1CB,230,258,2PA,2PW,2TB,2VB,2VF,322,323,337,3AG,3AT,3MB,402,413,417,423,
430,441,453,456,488,493,494,4MR,4NB,4U1,502,508,548,552,575,5A1,5AC,5AG,5AR,5AT,

856,883,8KA,8S3,8TF,8TH,8V1,925
Another failure I have is when reading SVT, I get an error.

I have turned on the ignition, without starting the engine, waited a few minutes, connected the RJ cable to the OBD, waited another few minutes and still fails.

Any idea with both things?

You need to read ecu.

You cannot add invalid option to car.

Bimmercode Coding to Prevent Trunk Slamming on Close

I had to search around and found out that the instructions via Bimmercode to fix the tailgate slam actually has different steps to follow for any F15 from the year 2017 and newer.

Hope this helps anyone trying to get this to work.

Go to:

Tailgate Function Module -> 3011 APPL_PLG_SPEED_PROFILE

Change the values to '00A0' in the following 4 sections.

ProfileCloseStopNode1PwmPlg = 00A0
ProfileCloseStopNode2PwmPlg = 00A0

ProfileCloseStopNode1PosPlg = 00A0
ProfileCloseStopNode2PosPlg = 00A0

After I did this my trunk does not slam anymore. It took a few hours of scouring to piece together the info.

Hi All,
Does anyone know if it's possible to add an audible warning that the car is in the blind spot when the turn signal is turned on?
Because by default, the steering wheel vibrates, the same as if the car ran on the dividing line.
