How to Get Weather Info While Widget Ist Kaput

You also get a more extended and more granular weather report this way. I simply programmed it into one of the memory keys for quick access.

The split screen widget has been very spotty the last three months. This is a workaround for access to weather info.

I think most people, including myself, have used the widget in the split screen. That one has been out of commission for a while.

Why were you hiding your approach from us ?

What makes no sense is the Weather info is actually there, but why the F can't they figure out how to stick it in the Widget.

I just didn't know didn't know I was hiding anything. I've been trying to get the analog clock to show up in split screen, but I don't see that option

Apparently there is still no way to show the weather in the split screen which is what I need since I am on the open road very dependent on the main nav screen.

I did follow the video instructions just to see what would happen and I could not even get weather like that illustrated by the OP.

I was joking of course about hiding your secrets.

Analog clock:

- split screen contents > scroll down to bmw widgets > clock, from three choices at the end of the menu tree.

Thanks - I got it now, and never tried that before

My normal setup is XM Radio or Media on the left and the Weather Clock on the right.
I can have the XM Radio on the right and do this Weather info screen on the left, but if you want to stream music which I do, then that info can only be displayed on the left.
Its a big mess, but like I said a few posts ago, the weather info is there, it even auto updates your location, so when I called BMW several times they said there was an issue with the Vendor. Well thats BS, because the Vendor is currently providing the Weather info, but IMO BMW cannot figure out how to enable the WX Widget or something.

bothfly , yep, it is BMW. Weather info even shows up on the navi map (provided you have selected to show that info), when you zoom out.
