I don't have the MPE on hand yet but supposedly you do need to order the tips for it. I'm sure you can reuse the stock Msport tips but the shop would need to cut them off and weld it back on the MPE where as the MPE tips just clamps on.

Niiiice, is this the same Alan from E46? Picked up a mineral white 5.0 on mocha a couple of months ago too. First kid on the way so had to pick up another SUV lol

lol, small world... still go there once in awhile but OT is filled with a bunch of kids now. Sucks I'm leaving for vaca on the 7th. I'd love to make it. Oh well next time

Another small update.

Picked up a M Performance exhaust and DIY painted the tips gloss black. Three coats of high temp ceramic black paint with one coat of high temp clear. Install should be happening this weekend!

alan what tire size are you running for your new wheels? i just looked up a set of wheels that will be 22x9.5 upfront and 22x10.5 in the rear all with 285/30/22

Just got the M Performance Exhaust installed. Wow. Can't be anymore perfect.

Loud and aggressive from the outside but barely audible from the inside. Love it!

What made you decide to cancel the AC Schnitzer order?

After seeing the stock exhaust tips in person it turns out they are the best shape for the Msport rear opening. I like them over anything else after seeing them in person.

I also agree with you.. It looks better than the 50i exhaust.. and I would go as far as better than the X5M quad style pipes. I'm like your white on black theme Alan.. can't wait to see your car in person at the event.
