3rd row seat comes with?

Hi,

I have ordered my BMW X5 30d with 3rd row seating (option 4UB) in Bosnia, Europe.

I read thru several posts here and some users are reporting 4UB comes with air suspension. Is that true? Can someone confirm?

Also, bmw.de description for 4UB talks about 4FF (rear comfort seats) being included, but maybe it's just my bad german :-)

Anyway, 15 days to go until delivery

2nd row comfort seats are not available with 3rd row seats.

Hi, 3rd row comes with air suspension (rear only). Independently on what type of seats you have in the front, the 3rd row always brings comfort seats for the 2nd row. You will also get additional ventilation for the 3rd row.

Actually comfort seating option is created by taking the second row which is used when ordering the third row and NOT having the third row there. Brilliant BMW.

Comfort seats allow you to adjust the angle of the rear seat back rests.
I think I read 3rd row automatically adds comfort rear seats.
It would only be logical that 3rd row adds comfort seats because the seats need to tilt back and forth for passengers to get to 3rd row.

Yes, 100% comfirmed: In EU 4UB comes by default with 4FF and with rear air susp. (Air susp. is for the EU homologation reasons, as you cannot legally limit weight of 2 passengers in3rd row seats,so technically it could be...a lot

) Anyway, it's been confirmed all over; check few threads aroundhere. Mine came in with rear comf seats as well although I never asked for those, but was explained to me that it was a "free pre-condition" to have 3rd row seats. Enjoy!

I'm quite sure this is incorrect information.

I have the 3rd row and the back seat comfort seats came standard. In addition, air suspension was also included when I purchased the 3rd row seats.

That's really strange what you say. If you take a look at our configurator (BeLux market), choose 3rd row seats and then try to choose comfort seats for the 2nd row, the configurator deletes 3rd row seats...I'm picking up mine this week so will double-check with the dealer whether it's just a bug in the configurator or they removed it recently (since you have it I must have been possible before)

I don't think it's a bug, it's just included in the third row price.

Usually when something is included due to some option/pack chosen it is ticked and greyed out so that it's clear it will be a part of the car's build. This is at least how our EU configurators work but it may be an exception in this case.

So, what are comfort seats? If it's just the ability to slide them back and forth then they're included with the 3rd row. Is there someone more to the "comfort" aspect?

The back rest reclines so it's more comfortable to sit.....worth the $500
