Yes you can come regardless. I think there is a $10 fee for people entering the car show but its completely free for spectators. They have $2 burgers and hotdogs for food plus they have discounts that day on any BMW Accessories.

Super stupid question, I know... BUT, where did the horizontal lines come from on your intakes? I'm going to order an MSport but the only cosmetic feature I don't like are the huge intakes... I actually prefer the luxury and x line versions better. However, yours are much more tasteful as they appear to break up the cavernous space. The only info I can find is it's in an official BMW pic marketing the MPPK (which I've debated with a Dinan or RC ultimate).

^^ Those are the fins that comes on the euro model M50D.
You can get them here - http://www.rgsportshop.com/index.php...product_id=294 Expensive but i agree it looks way better with them instead of that massive hole.

Awesome. Thanks. How do you like the MPPK and RC combo? Debating between one or two of the available options... but having a tough time deciding. Hell... I need to order the car, first!

They're just the stock fins from the 50i. Ben (r33) carries them. Spendy item IMO (not specific to Ben, but in general), but is the best solution to break up the space as you say.

I love them on mine too..I had mine painted to match my space grey though. I didn't like the fact that they'd have been the only piece on my car that's a contrasting color.

the holes are already there. you just need to remove one tab at the end of the trim. or you can order the whole grill set instead of just the trims for about 100usd more.

Man, if I knew it will sell a lot, I would've just reman them and it would probably cheaper. The minimum to make a mold is 300 pcs and that is per side, that's what hold me back.
Plus the painting cost. twelve535i , yes it fit on the stock side grill since it have the holes already as akhter mentioned. I sell the optional OEM open grill. Since day 1 I saw the F15 X5 M Sport, I hate the fake grill so much. I was about to dremel them 1 by 1, but luckily BMW has them with opening already, which makes it painless for me. Doanster , when I order the first set for my car, I was gambling and ready to eat that cost if it doesn't work out. But man, it actually makes the car looks much better with it.

I think I am the only one that prefer the big space without the separating wing..
I would like to have a full open grill on both sides but I understand that is not possible due to the PDC sensors. It looks similar to the mercedes AMG GT front. |

The front end of that MB isn't as busy as the X5... and that's why i think it works. It looks amazing on the AMG. |

To me those fins makes the front end slightly more refined/sophisticated looking.
Advice is to also use some double sided tape or glue for the install in addition to the tabs/rings. Alan |

I think the fin conceals the fake grille. I think I would either put the fin on if I keep the stock grille, or put on the open grille and leave the fins off.
