M Adaptive Suspension
The dealer I visited today told me that the option showed up on his build program but he confirmed with the BMW Genius at the dealership and said its no longer available.
Any one know if it's true?? It's not a deal breaker but it seemed like a great, relatively low cost way to improve handling on such a big car. Last edited by twelve535i; 05-10-2015 at 12:13 AM.. |

Sounds like BS to me unless Bmw is changing the option packages again for the 2016 cars??? My X5 was built on April 13th and the M Adaptive option was there in the dealer system even though the Bmw website took it down. Well my car def has it and it's one of the critical options on his truck. With the MPPK the difference between sport and comfort mode is HUGE! Give George Javier at Rallye a call. He'll know the real deal and give you a amazing price. Another member just ordered his x5 with him with my referral. Alan Last edited by Alan l.; 05-10-2015 at 07:23 AM.. |

Thanks guys for the info. I was told that I would be able to order the suspension, and if it doesn't show up on the build, they would refund me.
They have a "BMW Genius" at the dealership. It's an actual title. I have no idea what their role is. |

These Genius's make an appointment with new owners to go over all the features of your car and you may get a free $50 gas card for participating.

I would ask them to provide you a print-out of the actual order sheet (Called a Vehicle Inquiry Report) from the BMW Dealer Order system showing the specifics of what was ordered for your car that includes the BMW Production Number. Don't wait to find out what your getting until it arrives.

I would find another dealer that knows what he is doing...the option is most defiantly available, sounds like he is clueless. I have it on my X5 that arrived Saturday...if I went to pickup the X5 and it was missing I wouldn't be too happy. Its a must have option IMO

I've been to a few dealers and they're showing that M suspension is not orderable with x drive now. It shows up on their program with S drive only.
Did anyone order the M adaptive suspension within the last few days and actually get their car built with it? |

Wishful thinking is that they are going to start including it with the Msport package like they should have always done from the start but highly doubt it. Guys with VIN # could go to bmwvin.com and it shows every option the car was built with. The Adaptive M suspension should be listed if your car has it as well as the window sticker. Alan Alan

I just ordered (On May 8th) a 2015 X5 xDrive35i, M-Sport package (Option: ZMM) with the Dynamic Handling Package (Option: ZDH) and Adaptive M Suspension + Rear axle air suspension (Option: 2VF). The car was delivered today. Here is copy of the window sticker:

I received my May build in mid May and it has Adaptive M + DHP. It amazes me that dealers don't understand their products. You need to do the work for him and tell him to add 2VF.

I'm in the market for an M Sport X5 as well so had my dealer confirm that Adaptive M Suspension could still be ordered. He confirmed in his ordering system that it can still be ordered. He also checked with a BMW "Specialist" (Genius?) who confirmed it as well. Is it possible that your dealer was not adding the M Sport line before he checked for the Adaptive M Suspension?
