The manager had to of known about it. Hes not going to admit it but he definitely ok'd the wheel swap.
They must of been thrilled when you bought the car and left the lot and made no mention of the wheels

Let hope they play nice.

Is it not possible the factory messed up? I am just curious, not trying to say it's not the dealers fault. I am just wondering if stuff like this ever happens because of factory mess ups.

No way OP would be left out in the cold here. The dealership has no choice, regardless of what happened.
Say, for example, the sticker lists the Spare Tire Kit, but OP discovers it's missing when he gets home. The dealer would have to make him whole, period. No playing nice or not.

Are they taking possession of the set that is on there or letting you keep them?

x-line wheels on a luxury line x5?? someone tried to pull a fast one on you. lol
those wheels look so good with the luxury line.

since you have experienced both sets, how do the 20's ride compared to the 19's?

Thanks for posting this pics - the dark grey looks awesome on the car - a couple of shades lighter than the carbon black we have and gives the car real "pop" and shows the lines beautifully!

Wheels look great as wheel - really transforms the car for the better IMO.

Before I found out about missing the 20 inch Wheels. I told the wife that the steering felt a little loose. now the steering feels just right and it rides so much better. Bumps are just a tad bit more noticeable.

Hissing noise could be the seat side bolsters filling with air to your last setting. Thats what makes noise in mine anyway. Comfort seats.

I'm clearly mistaken, but I thought the flared fenders only came with the msport package and were not available with the dark graphite metallic. Is this a change or a special order?

Wheel flares are only available when you select 20" wheels..
Luxury line come with painted flares like the Msport.
Xline come with the non painted black flares.
I am not certain on the no line models.

Imho, the flares and 20" wheels completely change the look of the car, more so than M sport. infact the above looks better than M Sport with the flares and 19".

ofcourse ideal is 20" with M sport and ultimate is 21" M perf wheels with M sport (which is the setup i went with).

any dealer should be able to order it for you. you can get the part numbers from realoem.com and they don't look very expensive.

Also if you order oem 20 or 21 wheels the dealer is supposed to install them for you. the nice thing about those flares is that they are body color instead of matt black. looks like they come primed and need to be painted.
