2017 F15 Sunroof

Hi guys. I just picked up a 2017 F15 with 92k miles to replace a 2013 E70, 106K miles, which was destroyed in a hail storm.

White over brown. My intuition tells me that it was a mom mobile based on some of the evidence in and around the right rear seat which I made the seller fix before delivery and the fact that it appears it to have never been waxed once in its life. Lol

Overall though, it's pretty straight. There will be the usual odds and ends that you have with purchasing one of these used. Spark plugs, hoping the water pump has been replaced based on the miles - kind of right in between the 60k mile failure interval, no obvious oil leaks YET.

But, what I will need to start with is this issue with the sunroof. I'm going to take it to a local European specialist next week. I was curious though, if any of you experts might be able to take a look at these pictures and enlighten me on what this could be. The sunroof functions perfectly. It is just not seating correctly on the left side. I'm assuming something bent/broken, but I can not see anything. Maybe an adjustment? No idea. I went ahead and did a reset/recalibration just for fun, but that had no effect. There is some wind noise, but no signs of a water leak that I can see.

Looks like it just needs to be adjusted, there are 6 torx that hold that glass in place, if they loosened up it doesn't take much to move the glass. With a small amount of mechanical ability you could loosen the rear and middle torx on the side that it too low, push it up to the correct height and then tighten the torx, and check the other torx screws to make sure they are all tight.

Djhumvee that would be a huge relief. I was getting ready for the four figure invoice. I DO have a small amount of mechanical ability. Would you mind giving more detail or pointing me in the right direction of a video/walk through. I have been searching without success for more information over the past couple of days, but now I'll try using keywords like torx adjustment for sunroof, etc.
