F85 X5m Longbeach Blue Opticoat Ceramic Coating

So i had to wait a week until i was able to wash my car (per the detailer who did the Opticoat Ceramic Coating)

The guy who worked on my car asked for around 1334 USD to detail the interior and seal the carpets (water proof) and the exterior plus opticoat pro.

Any one who is thinking about applying Opticoat should know that there is an Optimum Gloss-Coat™ available on the http://opti-coat.net and Opticoat Pro plus that is available on the Australian website. This guy Claimed to use Opticoat pro plus.

My findings after washing the car are the following:

Easy dirt wash off
It looks like it was just detailed
Super easy drying using (((Metro Vacuum MB3CD Air force Master Blaster 8-HP Motorcycle Dryer)))

Water really moves like Liquid mercury. It cuts down on the wash time dramatically in my opinion.

I have pictures to share and i hope i can upload a couple of videos enjoy !

I had Opti Pro on my '13 M5 after my clear bra installer told me about it, figured why not? Since then I had it done on my wife's Wrangler and I just had the Pro Plus done on my 911 GTS. It really does make washing the car that much easier, if that's your thing.

I was told by a detailer that the main differences in Pro and Pro Plus is minimal shine, but the Pro Plus is better against water spots and will have an even smoother feel to the touch. I've yet to wash my GTS so we'll see. I'll be doing Opti on my X5M once I get it.

Sounds good! Has anyone had any experience with Hypershield from 3M? Saw a demonstration yesterday on a car and the water beaded amazingly.

@DCoy got it on his M3 in Korea. He might have some insights into that product.
