hey fellas ,
was really curious as i havnt seen any body with , but does any one here have a bmw cool box in their x5m/x6m.

Would this be something from factory or can it be fitted after?

its the bmw fridge , it was a factory added addition but was wondering if its possible to buy after delivery and fit

My center console has some kind of cooling element in it... is that what you mean?

Funny you mention that. With my rear AC running my center console gets really cold along with everything in it. I thought I may have a vent leak somewhere feeding the rear console vents. I wish they could have actually diverted cold air to the front seat ventilation.

Little update

Even though it was mentionned here http://www.joeduffybmw.ie/imglib/_pdf/x5m_x6m1.pdf
and a few other places, it appears that it was never made available at the factory because of technical difficulties even if it was planned.

It actually shows it in the factory manual. I would imagine it takes up a lot of space too

I too would like one in my future F85. Are you able to check if it's available in UK? I was in London for 5 days until yesterday. Beautiful city but I never saw an X5M!
