I have no idea if Telematics (Connected Drive) will work in Australia. I think this is unlikely. But for Navigation, you will need to load Australia / New Zealand Map, so you just need Map and FSC Code.

Sorry if this has been brought up before but the number of posts in this thread made me scared to go through them all. I have thoroughly reviewed all information that were posted and have not seen anything to address this.
First of I would like to thank all involved in the step-by-step guide as it made it easy to learn the basics. For some reason I cannot download the information on the VO coding as it is something I will be using next. I finally got down to doing some coding today so I was able to code a few simple codes, but as I coded them and exited esys and later turned it back on new .ncd files start to appear. I started off with maybe 8 and now I have 30+. Is this normal? To clarify I did save all 8 modules that initially appeared. What I also noticed was that some of the modules (ICM, and many others) were not displayed until I rebooted esys. I figure that since these .ncd files are appearing that I should save them as they are the original configuration from the factory. Now I am just confused. Did I initially followed the steps wrong? Would anyone be able to offer any guidance? Thanks in advance. |

Saving all NCD's is not necessary because you will unlikely code each one and can always VO code back to factory. |

Thanks for your response Almaretto. I was just concerned that more NCDs were appearing and was afraid I did something wrong.
I think it is all good now and should have all the coding done by tonight.... I hope. I will read the attachments in your pm and see if it will provide all the answers that I need. Thanks. |

Also, remember that any modules that you VO code will be reset to default and therefore you will loose the FDL coding you already completed. That is why you VO code first, then do your FDL coding.

Thanks for your response.
I did watch that exact video while trying to FA code and then VO code. However, the problem came when he said to right click the ECU folder and code. The procedure in the video didn't work for me as when I right click the ECU folder the code selection was grey (and the video apparently is grey as well). That's why I tried right click-->read coding. Then I was able to code. Not sure why this is. |

For FDL Coding, if you select orange CAFD, only "Code FDL" button will be available. |

I have managed to get most of the coding done and am confident to say I could be of help in providing any advice to new coders. I did it all manually so that I can understand the ins and outs. However, there are a few I can't figure out and it would be great if someone can provide some insight.
1. I cannot find the correct path to get the turn signals blink 5 times. I even tried using the cheat to code it and it does not work. Any clue why or is it possibly another path? 2. Everytime I try coding for camera on at all times, it gives me an error saying I need more memory and to reboot the software. I even tried coding one of the four at a time but same error. Does anyone know why? I have tried rebooting etc so please don't give the IT famous response. 🤔 3. It's awesome to be able to mirror my phone in to the Idrive screen, but I don't see an office menu in my communications menu where all the features can be organized. Also, I can't find REMINDER_TRIGGERS_EIN_AUS to activate it. I think this list comprise of the features I really want. I hope someone can help me out. BTW, setting USB to 2100ma does not work with my Samsung S6 edge. I was hoping it would so that I can get quick charge to work through the USB. |

Planning on getting delivery of my new X5 end of April. Anyone in the NYC area (Queens) who can help me code the car? Looking to turn on the anti-dazzle feature and any other recommendations. Will pay you beer or cash

My F15 should be here soon... Since coding is new to me and I likely would not attempt on my own, I was wondering if there was a common list of what most users are choosing? (sorry if this is not the right place for this)
I'm thinking my short list would be:
Is there anything "critical" for an F15 that I may be missing? (no need for video in motion) |
