2011 X5 M owner pneumatic air spring question

I have a 2011 X5 M and my passenger rear air spring need to be replaced. I'll be doing the job myself, so I am wondering whether or not the computer needs to be reprogrammed for the new pneumatic air springs? Or, will the computer just pump up the new air bag without the need for a visit to the dealership

I wanted to help you but I think you came to the wrong forum. I understand that F85 has air spring at rear but I am not so sure they are identical to yours.

I had it repaired and the dealership had to reprogram the computer.

Well they ended up being the same airbag. I did the repair myself, no reprogramming required
