Drop and Lowering Options 16 x35i

Options for lowering 1- 2 inches. BMW dealership states unable to use after market springs or change suspension without voiding warranty.
Recommendations from the forum as alternative options?

There is no alternative. Either change springs or install complete coilovers. Only warranty spirng will void is the springs themselves. Not car warranty

Just ordered a set of KW V3's. I've been happy with KW in my cars (V3's in F10 M5, and have 2-way Clubsports in my M4). Best to go with a full coilover vs. just a set of springs because you want to get matched springs and shocks.

Great if you have self-leveling suspension.
For others who don't have self-leveling, pretty much SOL for now.

Great choice man. Post pics once installed and you get the stance where you want it.

Well, KW wasn't able to deliver, so I'm now looking at ACS springs.

Your option will be:

H&R with about 1.5" drop all around
AC Schnitzer with about 1" drop all around
Eibach with about 1" drop all around

Let me know which one and I'll PM you the price.

^^ After seeing both the H&R and the ACS options in person, I have the ACS and a buddy has the H&R, I would've opted for the H&R instead. The ACS setup needs a "bit more" drop. No regrets from my end, just wish it was a tad lower.
