X5M Spare Wheel & Tire
Do all X5Ms come with a spare wheel/tire? I have one in my car but don't feel the need for one.
It seems quite heavy. So, would removing it + jack etc give any significant weight benefits? Does having a spare tire make it more safe in the case that the car is rear ended?

Unless you're racing for pink slips, I'd keep it. You'd kick yourself if you're stranded with a flat tire.
