Collected my brand new X5 40d SE this afternoon.

Atlas Cedar with Amaro Brown Individual Merino leather & Piano Black trim, Comfort front seats, Pure Experience Exterior Design Pack, Sport Auto, Pro Adaptive Suspension (DHP), Harmon-Kardon audio, Cold Weather Pack, LED headlights, Electric towbar, Sun protection glass & model badge deletion.
After the 135i, it’ll be a while getting used to the size of the thing, and the lack of stopping distances with ¾ tonne more weight and no massive 6-pot Brembo’s upfront....
And driving back into the low setting sun, I really missed the top tint front screen that I had in the 135i but I love the comfort of it.
Soot chucker's got a bit of poke as well

Love the illuminated BMW Individual door sill trims

Wow... that looks really good, a unique colour combination. I don't think I've actually seen an x5 in atlas cedar. It must be nice to see the car in person as it's hard to visualise when placing the order. What size are your wheels and what tyres were they delivered on? They look like they have a decent sized sidewall which must help with ride compliance.

Mine looks like its the first X5 in the UK in Atlas Cedar, according the BMW Genius I was emailing last month when trying to track my order progress

Wheels are 19" diameter same width all around, with Pirelli Scorpion all-season tyres. I wanted the all-seasons, hence going for SE spec rather than MSport.

That explains why I haven't seen one in Atlas cedar then

Looking forward to hear how you get on once you have had more time in it.

Hey GeeRam,
Your X5 has finally arrived after the long wait
The car looks great and I like the colour combination.
The BMW Individual leather and comfort seats probably make all the difference of owning a luxury SUV.
I hope you have many enjoyable miles in it and I look forward to hear over the next few days your new experiences with the X5.

Congratulations on finally picking it up and a lovely colour combination GeeRam - very "Individual" indeed as the first Atlas Cedar X5 in the country. It'll make a change to the black, white and greys that we all see

Here's to many happy miles and I hope all the new South East X5 owners can find time to get together for a photo shoot when the sun finally makes an appearance!

Wednesday lunchtime
The wait is killing me and being one of the last to receive from the UK December orders doesn't help
