I did Performance Center Delivery for the third time yesterday. It never gets old! The handling course is especially fun - you get to beat on their X5s and try to get the most out of them. It's a blast chasing the driver on the other side of the course - I almost caught him!
The plant tours are open for delivery customers, as well. I missed that last time. Well done, BMW. This is a bucket list item for anybody buying a X vehicle built in the US!

They put me on the track with three 3 series. I was in a '10 X6 50i. They tell you to go as fast as you want, but do not pass anyone. I was the lead car and thinking WTF? This isn't right. Those 3s are so light and agile. I had a blast. Tore it up and wound up right on the ass of the tail vehicle. Not sure if their driving skills sucked, or I'm that good . I could not believe how nimble that 5000# beast was. I need to do that again. I'm jealous you've done it three times. Anyone who hasn't done this, do it. |

There were a total of eight deliveries yesterday, I guess that's a light schedule. They ran 3 groups 3-3-2 vehicles. I was lucky enough to be one of the two.
