Any dealer that says 100% approval with no or bad credit, I pass.

As far as the 50i goes, mine is going just fine. No real issues with the motor, just burning oil at random times (times it goes no consumption, sometimes a lot). Even put my chip back in and I'm happy happy.

It is low miles relative to a satellite or the space shuttle or something like that. Give the guy some credit!

That's me. 44k miles and it blows white smoke. Had it towed to my dealer. So the car is expected back tomorrow, about 10 days in the shop total. They are replacing an upper oil pan gasket, all valve stem seals, all fuel injectors and the a/c condenser.

I have had many BMWs but this is the first 8 cylinder. The problem is frustrating sure, but covered under warranty. I actually looked for a 2014 because the warranty and maintenance is longer and transfer to the new owner, not so with the 15's+. Would have NEVER bought this 50i if there wasn't a warranty in force for just this reason.

I have purchased a number of high performance cars over the years and have had some great reliable ones and others not so much. Kinda comes with the territory.

thats a bummer. did you know who had the x5 before you? i wonder if someone just beat on it. because the problems you're having seem to be happening earlier than they typically occur on the v8.

It was a one owner car with a clean Carfax. I had my dealer pull the VIN and it was serviced at another dealer with all maintenance work done. I had my independent do a inspection and it all checked out. I was confident as one could be...
