Finally, I had sound clips from a f85 where the shop modified the e70 system to fit. It was very aggressive. The price the company was charging with the modifications was around 8k with downpipes.
Interested to see final pricing. Not impressed with the tips though |

They are valves and a very Sophisicated system with valves open, closed and auto mode with rpm based operating. I am considering the system. It is a full turbo back with down, mids and mufflers

We are a stocking distributor for FI Exhaust and will have a system arriving at our shop next week. When it arrives I will take pictures for everyone and list them in a separate thread.

Their site only lists the x6m, not x5m. Is there a difference in terms of exhaust?

At least it's the whole exhaust, not just a muffler for that price like these other jokers are trying to charge.

Does BMW care if you replace the exhaust? Or is this a mod exclusively for those who don't care about warranty?

Catback Exhaust (Bolt-on exhaust after the downpipes/primary Catalytic Converters) doesn't void the warranty. That means as long as you don't cut or replace your downpipes, you are fine.

They are made in Taiwan. Retail on the cat-back is $5500 Retail on catless downpipes is $1800 Retail on downpipes with high-flow cats is $2400 Quote:
A cat-back exhaust will not void your warranty. Replacing downpipes is when you could get into trouble. Making friends with your SA doesn't hurt Last edited by AutoTalent; 01-13-2016 at 12:44 PM.. |
