Here is my options

MY18 at invoice and base MF. The only incentive is $1500 loyalty beyond invoice.

Residual 62% MF .00152

I can also get MY17 for invoice plus $3000 rebate, $1500 loyalty. The 40e would be $6,000.

Since the Residual on MY18 is 4% higher than MY17 the $3k rebate is a wash once you go above $80k MSRP.

Thoughts?

I got the same number MF and residuals except loyalty incentive. Two CA I talked to said NO loyalty for X5 - either MY17 or MY18.

Can you PM me information on loyalty incentive? what cars qualify for it?
I have current X5 and was old owner of 3series.

I will go with MY18. Better residual.

Which one you are looking for ? x35i or 40e.

I'm also between x35i and 40e. Will probably order next week.

My CA gave me 62% 36/10K for MY18 40e for Sep. 40e and x35i residual should not be different.

I will ping him for MY18 x35i MF and residual. I'm pretty sure MY18 x35i is same as of 40e.

It's for '18. Sorry about confusion.

Yes it's def not cheap. I'm getting Prestige with Adaptive Chassis package. I got a little over 7% off MSRP. Lease rates are not as good as BMW. Again my main 2 reasons were: something different and better 3rd row.
7% is not bad for Q7 where the local dealers are giving me around 1%.. That guy is a troll I guess. Gave me $750 discount on a $70k vehicle.

At "base" Prestige with metallic paint, it's $66k MSRP, 7% off would be $4620 off, monthly payment will be $907/mo, not much higher than my $70k msrp X5 that I am paying $900 based on 3 yr ago numbers.

Some people get 8-9% off according to audi forums, and at 8% the monthly payment would be $886, actually very affordable, unless we add 4-wheel steering, air suspension, etc.. HUD is standard in Prestige, right?

np, I verified with CA today. It's matched 62% for 10K miles, .00152 MF for both x35i and 40e MY18.

Yeah HUD is "standard" on Prestige. 7% is easily doable if you go to the right dealer. You can try your local dealers to match it -- which is what I did. Local dealer charged me more fees but his payment was still $3 less than original dealer.. so in other words his selling price was close to 7.8% off. 8-9% off is not common and usually involve special situation (or probably higher fees).

Thanks, I guess I'll have to let go of the HUD, unless dealer has a '17 lying around the lot (not expecting this to happen) and they just want to get rid of it (odd color maybe!?) and they give a good deal.. Otherwise I doubt I can get that if they don't go more than 7%. Higher fees or marked up MF will be a wash and it will keep us above $900/mo.

Which dealer is this? Can you fwd CA info?

Are you also looking into MY18 X5 or settling on MY17?

Ok I just got 8% off on MY18. Dealer out of Atlanta.

I'm pushing for 9%. This is before any incentive credits.

Pm me if you are interested to order right now.

Do they deliver to other states? Few others got close to 10% not sure if that includes incentives or not, but please keep us posted!

According to their website, Yes.

I don't see any single post getting 10% on MY18. few are 7% which does include incentive.

Care to link the post?

Anyone getting these 8% to 10% (or more) discounts on MY 17 or MY 18 X5M's now?

One of my dealers had a '17 X5M and let me walk with a bit under 5% off. I said no deal there.

Last part of his message he said
"The dealer is offering me $7,200 off MSRP if I order the vehicle."

New vehicle would mean '18.

I wouldn't mind '17, myself, if I were to stay with BMW, but it will be tough to find what I want since I got used to (and spoiled by) being able to order exactly what I want.

Oh wow, didn't realize this thread wasn't inactive for so long. My bad.
If BMW is not giving breaks on 18's they will lose a lot of sales, nobody will pay near full price for an outgoing model unless they have no idea. I believe BMW sales are really low recently, month after month.
