Too bad they pulled the spicy nuggets off the menu. It happened to be a topic of conversation in my track day friends group chat. There's a Wendy's right down the street from Mid-Ohio so it's basically tradition that we go there for lunch on Saturdays that we're at the track. Lol

Nice that they covered everything. Tell them you need a raise because they sent you some place with shitty weather.

They still have the regular spicy chicken sandwich though I thought? Why wouldn't they have the nuggets? That's dumb. Our tradition was that 4 for $4 meal there on Saturday's after the morning hunt last year.

That's the next step. Right now just working on securing positive relationships with people at the plant and get a good basis started. That way it'll be an easier negotiation.

As far as I know, they still have the sandwich. I'm sad about the nuggets. They were so good.

Did you start working or still settling in?

That's because you live in one of the lucky seven cities that still have them. Bastard!

Seems dumb to have the sandwich but not the chicken nuggets. BUT, after moving around a bit the past couple years, menu's are completely geographical pricing and options wise. Could just be an OH thing for all we know.

Yeah I like spicy everything over regular, gotta put a lil pep in ya step.

If you want to call it working. I basically just go around and talk to operators all day and bullshit. It's a lot more easy and smooth going at this plant than back in NC which is nice.

Hmmmmm. They're in Chicago but not NY :/ Wouldn't ever get them in NYC cuz of the food tax, but still a let down.

From what I know, the major cities in OH are the test market for pretty much every fast food chain. Usually see shit there, way before national rollouts.

Hell even Chicago's fast food menus were expensive compared to a lot of other places. When I was on the boardwalk I could sit down and get a decent lunch at Outback Steakhouse for what a Big Mac meal would have cost.

Agreed. It ain't cheap, but still cheaper than NYC. I could get a nice lunch meal at Gino's for the amount of money I'd spend on an average McDonalds meal here.

McDonalds has specials only for the Chicagoland area, though. For example, corporate owned stores offer coffee free on Mondays, no purchase necessary. And in the summer, they sometimes give cones out for .59c.

Haven't found that anywhere in the country.

lol, it's really not that bad here, my only gripe was being spoiled with nice weather.

Other than that, no complaints. Found an ice arena that has adult drop-in hockey, so might start doing that on Friday nights.

Hockey is always fun.

Midwest weather gets better after March, usually. Fall is perfect.

Without a doubt my favorite sport to play. Played some roller in NC, but it's been about 5 years since I've played ice, so that'll be dope.

Definitely ready for spring, just want to get the bike out, even though everyone here says I'd be crazy to ride to work because people drive like idiots. Fuck it.

People shit on it more that they should. Our current weather is a perfect example of the crazy/unstable girlfriend reference I made a few days back. Yesterday, it was cold as shit. Today, I'm all miserable because it's Monday so I bundle up to help fight the cold. I walk outside and it's 60. WTF.

It's supposed to be 53 with no rain on Wednesday. Fuck it, I'm driving the roadster.

Actually, I really enjoyed yesterdays weather. Even though it was high 30's it felt nice being in the sun without needing a jacket. HA, yeah this morning was about 50 when I left, didn't bring a jacket.

I think people shit on it because there really isn't shit in Ohio, EXCEPT the few larger cities. So all of Ohio catches the same shit, when really, this area is no different than other areas I've been.

I think people drive like idiots everywhere. Cleveland isn't very bike friendly though, well the suburbs for the most part aren't. Downtown is different. There's also a lot of areas in Cleveland I wouldn't want to be caught in on a bike lol..

People definitely drive crazy everywhere, but people are A LOT slower in the south. Anything north of West VA people tend to start driving a lot crazier.

I'll mostly be on 90 around 6am and then on the way home at 3pm. Neither of which seem terrible. However, around 7am or 3:30pm/4:00pm it definitely seems to start getting crowded.

Those are the hours to be driving for sure. I feel for those that are stuck working 8-5, you get caught in hell on both ends. I'm a 6-4 guy, but I live due south down 77. Which is never all that bad anyways, compared to 90.
