Thanks, Chem! Getting many little things taken care of with the X5 over the next week plus (alignment, hitch install, wheel kerb rash repair).
Hope you're still enjoying the electrified 5er. Any external mods that I could use to spot you with?

Welcome to bimmerpost forums. Diesel X5's are great, they are getting popular in the past few years here in States too, the torque is simply amazing.

Thanks. Makes the F15/16 look like a totally different vehicle.

No worries, I have received mixed feedback on the red stripe. It looks subtle in real as compared to pictures where the red color illuminates more. As far as reflector, I know most here don't like it, but will leave it the way it is.

I don’t understand all the reflector hate. It’s like barely there.

i'm with you. to each their own. in my head, color matched front and rear reflectors, front plate removal and no red pinstripe and this thing would just be too too sexy.

Personally; I would have color matched the front and rear reflectors. But, of course if you did that people would be saying why did you color match the reflectors!!!

I like concept of the red pin stripe, especially on the front lip. As for it clashing with the color of the vehicle, again some people will say it does and some will say it doesn’t. When I initially looked at the picture it clashed, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. In my opinion, I think you should color match the front reflector and it will be straight.

But, what I’m really confused about is the issue with the front plate. Correct me if I wrong (I never lived in California), but isn’t the front plate required in California? It’s one thing to have an opinion on mods, but to suggest the removal of the front plate when it’s required by state law?!?!?
