What 20'' rims for x5?
Went ahead to order Conti DWS tires 275 front and 315 rear and now I'm trying to choose some 20 inch rims that will look good and not be to heavy. Also, lots of good looking rims on ebay, but I don't know which ones are of bad quality (wouldn't care normally, but for heavy x5 this is a safety issue)
Don't want to spend $$$ for forged rims either I really like Apex arc-8 design rims - relatively affordable and good quality and low weight, but they only come in 19'' max, no 20'' arc-8 |

Other alternative is the classifieds on this site. People selling OEM for a lot less, smoking deals are there but once in a blue moon and you really have to jump on it. Since these are used they may have damage on them but even severe curb rash is easily fixable for $200-$300 at a reputable shop. Of course, you need to know when a wheel is truly fcked. Good luck! |

Thanks Kr0m3assass1n! That's what I'm going to do - try to find some BMW rims on forum. But probably I won't have enough patience and will cave in for some ebay rims haha

Still looking for best looking 20'' rims for Alpine White. Biggest issue is that pics are misleading, many rims look a lot better in person for some reason
Right now debating if I should go for black rims or not? On pics they always come out not that good, but I imagine in person it may be completely different I also noticed that f15 x5 is a hard car to get rims that look good on it - probably due to softer shape than previous generation. Some rims that looked good on previous x5 - don't look good on f15 damn |

I like these rims, but I'm not sure if offset 20mm Front and 36mm Rear will give me no issues on 275/40/20 and 315/35/20 - does anyone know?

@DuSh Check out the side profile on mine with 20" staggered setup and no flares.
Coincidentally, I have the exact same tires. |

Correct. OEMs are 21" and crazy expensive.

Look into the 468s.
They're offered for the X5M50D, which I think it's a nice alternative to the standard 469s. I have the gloss black 491s but the slight concavity and the darkness makes them look smaller than 20s, which I don't like. In case you change your mind and want black wheels, definitely start at 21"

For those interested in aftermarket, Check out Beyern wheels. They make em just for BMWs. I almost bought a set of Antler wheels but they were so backordered I pulled the plug on them.
