I'm really digging the wheels.. those Gunmetal Forgestars has got to be the best looking ones for our X5. Member kkakonn got the same ones I think in 22"... I am not sure on the red 50i badge on the sides.. I prefer the debadged look but yours is unique and one of a kind

I'm looking forward to the front lip install... I don't think I've seen one with black exterior before... Your X5 is looking good thatsjustice

PS. Can I ask why you went with the BMS stage 1 instead of the Racechip Ultimate?
I'm still debating on which one to get for my 35i

@thatsjustice , looking good.
The 20's surprisingly makes the car looks meaner.

I went with BMS just because of that Berger motorsports has a huge following, and a ton of support

there hasn't been enough reviews about racechip for me

I like this. The low offset on the wheels fills in nice and you have plenty of meat on the tires

Nice, nice!
I dig the 20" Forgestars as well with the meaty tires. Perfect setup IMO. Larger (21" or 22") wheels are def nice, but the thinner the sidewalls on the accompanying tires, the more the wheel well gap is accentuated, thereby forcing a lowering dilemma.
Are the tires 275 up front and 315 out back? Care to share the cost? (Or PM me...)

I have tested both. Both of them are nice tunes. Can't go wrong with either one.
But, if you are not computer savvy enough, RaceChip is more convenient in upping the boost. It also have weather proof casing.
If you are, the BMS Stage 1 is more bang for the buck.
Some report the RaceChip being smoother, which I second to that.

For 20's, they actually look pretty big.
Nothing beats a clean black car! It looks so much more aggressive than any other F15 color

I don't think you understand how GPS works. You cannot "GPS verify" your 0-60 time as a civilian. Cutouts are generally do not cause a performance increase.

Nice looking car.

Nice looking car.
yes it was a vbox gps box that my buddy lent me... and on a turbo car with a tune there is a pretty big performance Increase.... my cutouts are right after my down pipes, so the turbo spools much faster and it as free flow as you can get, I'll get it on a dyno this week and post results

Also... the BMS tune says that once a free flow exhaust is installed you can turn the turn to a more aggressive mode... On the 5 fourms (550 n63tu same tune) people have seen up to 20whp from the putting the tune to a move aggressive mode (which wasn't even applied when I did the 0-60 run) stock i recorded around consistently around 4.4 0-60

There's more to exhaust flow than that, but if it feels like it's working and you're happy, have at it. Be safe!

thatsjustice how do you like the escort passport max detector?
I used to have the V1 and I hated that thing because it falsed so much that I pretty much ignored any alerts coming from it. Prior to that I had an older model escort passport which was okay but this was way before gps and other features were available.

Thanks.

I love it... came from a v1 as well, the max is ten times better except the mount I find a little flimsy... it has further range then the v1 according to tests too, I suggest the passport max 2 since it has Bluetooth and you can get the online warnings as well

I already ordered the Max because I didn't really needed the bluetooth connection to my phone. I feel like that would be more of a distraction.

How did you mount the detector? Any pictures? Based on your pictures of what I can see, you just using the coli cords plugged into the cigarette outlet? On my V1 I had the straight cords hidden in the interior moldings and ran the wire to the OBD connector with SAVVY. On this new one it only comes with the coil/spring cord. I guess I need to purchase a new straight cord...

Thanks for your comments
