Here is the cheat sheet for now as promised.
Gotta run for now, there are a lot more basics coding that can be looked under F10 or F30 cheat sheet, but yet to confirmed.
The cheat sheet is full access to anyone, feel free to edit, add, and correct.
Great! FWIW, based on my experience with having my F15 coded, it makes such a difference to the end experience. I am surprised that BMW doesn't just offer them as iDrive settings that a normal person can use.

- remote mirror lock/unlock
- windows up and down with fob
- tailgate open and close with fob
- change inside lights
- camera settings
- HUD display settings
- warning and chimes settings (I like the RR chime better LOL)
- high beam and other light settings
- Audio and video settings
- turn signal settings
- blind spot monitoring speed settings

And so much more!

I also can't believe why BMW won't provide the patch for CarPlay full screen when it works perfectly on the iDrive 6 system to all owners. It works flawlessly.

I find iDrive 6 to be very stable.

What are you guys using to code? My steering column is having issues moving and I’d like to code it off before the motors completely gives out.

Bimmercode would be your best option for such simple codings...

I am pretty sure I found the setting to prevent Ventilated seats from dropping back to a lower setting after 15 minutes or whatever it is. I will reply with a confirmation later today.

In Expert mode with BimmerCode:
SMD/P --> 3008 SITZKLIMA --> SKL_ZEIT_ST3_NACH_ST2

Change from "werte_10" to "nicht_aktiv"

Thanks, does make you wonder why they made it lower the setting after however many minutes. My first thought is that they had concerns about durability of the fan motor.

Do any other markets keep the high setting indefinitely?.

Confirmed. It works. It no longer bumps down to setting 2.

I have a feeling the setting was just a copy and paste from heated seat functions. And there I think we can all agree that it probably makes sense to automatically step down from 3 to 2 after a certain period of time to ensure nothing overheats.

Just a guess, but I would bet that is the reason.

r33_RGSport , is the google sheet you created still being maintained or expanded in any capacity. It would be great for a few folks to try to divide and conquer various sections to document as many options as possible. Example, in the sheet, the seat ventilation parameters I believe are not quite right. I think they should actually be fan speed, not temp. So the lower numbers result in lower performance. I am guessing a bit, but I could try to bite off this section and test and document. Would love to see perhaps some others do the same.

Another example, in idrive 6, the seat ventilation and heat params show up under climate settings so you can customize how the climate functions are set when you start the car, based on outside ambient temp. A very slick idea, but not available currently in idrive 6-lite. I bet it is programmable though.

Thoughts on how to perhaps bring the google sheet up to date?

I have not seen any updates in awhile. We are already in next generation hardware, so unlikely to see many more discoveries with older technology. Though, I do have edit rights to made changes if you do want to submit.

Good stuff, Ben. So far the seat ventilation update is the only significant discovery, but I am continuing to research and poke around.

Sorry about that!

Other items on my list:

1. Make the Auto Hold settings "sticky"
2. Check and measure the wheel/tire circumference / diameter settings. I recently moved to a 275/40R20 and 315/35R20, but the vehicle was originally shipped with 19s, so I want to see if there is anything I need to do there to make sure the spedo and odo stay accurate.

I would need the FDL changes to add them to sheet.

Hi. Can anyone help with coding turn signals ? On my 2015 x5 I have turn signals integrated in eyebrows and there's no side turn signals in the headlights, now I got '18, and I got side turn signals . Can I code eyebrows to work as turn signals with these side turn signals , and after I turn off turn signal that they stay on if the headlights are on? And can I do it with Bimmercode in expert mode? Thanks

Previous there was an option to code tailgate soft closing, now when I look into my bimmecode app it is no longer there. Is there another way of coding it?

Eyebrows are part of headlamps so not sure I understand desired behavior. Can you elaborate?
