Does anyone have an pic of where they installed theirs? This look good? I am not sure what the round unit is, but it is hot.

Thanks

I thought maybe DEF reservoir? I cannot find an engine compartment manual/diagram and not much space in there. Hoping someone else with RC in F15 x5d will chime in.

Diesel Exhaust Fluid - my car is x5d. It helps with emissions or something like that.... I went back and looked, probably not DEF, but something. they said don;t install near turbo, but I'd be surprised if that is the turbo. These things can probably take a lot of heat, just not sure how much. I have the pics into RaceChip too.

Hmm. Don't know anything about diesels but cool. Good luck. I put mine behind my headlight.

That's about where it is, there were no holes to zip to on the other side of the neg grounding bolt. RaceChip replied, they said good there.

Thx!

If you can't recognize a coolant overflow tank, you probably shouldn't be poking around under your hood without some help.

Should've call me up.
I sell and install RaceChip, so I know the best place to put them.
Where you are is fine, but I usually put it behind the driver side headlamp and use heavy duty velcro or double sided tape if you are not going to change the settings around.

No - all fine for about 200miles of driving. Checked sport gauges, still showing normal HP and Torque ( I know this is correct). Feeling better HP from the 55-80mph jump where is where I felt was lacking.

I hear you on the Velcro/headlight, but that concerns me with it falling off. I also did not want to drill any anchor holes at all.
