Angel Eye Fading

Just noticed one of my angel eyes began to fade in intensity and turned to a yellowish hue.
Any ideas? Assuming it's fried.

Is your X5 still under warranty? Could be your LED not being lit up at full intensity, or the LED simply having fallen out of its socket.

Just a guess but maybe if both are fading it could be a power issue. I know the platform suffers from battery failures, so perhaps thats a place to start.

Are Angel eyes coded for higher intensity or does it just look that way with one failing?

I don't think it's suppose to look yellow ever and since the angel eyes are not SMD, but rather traditional LED with the plastic lens, I think that thing burnt.
