2018 40e - Mirror fold on locks

Guys,

On your 2018 40e - does it fold mirrors if you press the remote key for ~3 seconds. Folding mirror works with Comfort access, if I pressed on the door handle.

Can you confirm if folding via remote works too?

I coded mine to do that

Need to be coded , there also delay like 0 seconds , 3 and 5 , put ZERO otherwise you stay and hold the handle (in case comfort acces) or button on remote .

Cool, I have done coding on old x35i 3 years ago.

Did you guys use E-Sys & PSdZData to the coding or used the IOS app? I guess newer E-Sys & PSdZData have list of things to codes-with description built in.

E-sys + Launcher Cheat Codes. '18 will fold but you must code to roll up windows.

Do you mean it should fold the mirrors without coding? It is 2018 40e.

It is only half coded. You will want to complete coding.

So I still need to coding in order to enable folding mirrors with remote? Some people on 40e FB groups mentioned that their 40e fold mirrors out of the factory, no coding.

I don't want other little things. Most of things already works e.g. Playback Video....works without any coding.

if I can avoid loading of esys +2 hrs. I will go for it.

My '16 40e folded and rolled down windows. I needed to code in order to roll up windows. Coding does not take 2 hours. And, if all you want is that feature, it can be done with Bimmercode App.

Nope. My remote can’t fold the mirrors. I have to touch the handle.
