Radio and Climate Faceplate Replacement Issues

Hello. I just replaced my 2014 F15's radio and climate faceplate for another one coming from a 2017 F15 (did this for the ceramic knobs).
The swap was straightforward and all connectors the same, etc. However, the climate functions are all out of whack, the A/C compressor won't turn on (even though the green bar lights up), it won't blow air through the front vents, and all it does is blow super hot air from the footwell and rear vents.
No other visible errors, it turns off fine and temperature settings move normally. Radio functions all fine.
Any ideas?

Try putting back in the old one and see if it fixes it. Did you disconnect the battery when doing the swap?

That was going to be my next step anyway (cannot go too far without A/C).
No, I did not disconnect battery.
I checked realoem and there were no changes in the faceplate between 2012-2017, meaning the part should work.
Curious if there's some kind of reset that will kick it up.
