Bluetooth question.
Hello guys and gals, I currently have a 16 x5 (wife)and a 16 x6m. I have a galaxy s8 she has the iphone x. Ether her car or mine when both phones are connected and I'm listening to the s8 via bluetooth my music keeps cutting in and out until i shut her bluetooth off. Not really sure how to fix this, hopefully you guys might have some insights.

[QUOTE=foldpages;22641156]I had a similar issue but when using CarPlay. Music would constantly cut in and out. I took it to the dealer and they did an iDrive firmware update. Fixed the issue.[/QUOTE
I'm guessing the issue happened when only 1 phone was connected? My issue goes away once I shut iphone bluetooth off, it's like it's on the same frequency channel and is jumping between the two phones. |

Experience this today with my wife's phone. First time. Mine doesn't do it.

are both phones selected to serve as music and phone sources? I've had 2 phones connected without problems, but only 1 of them was selected as the music source. And by "selected" I mean during BT setup when it asks you how you want the phone to be connected.

I dont recall this option, but will look into it. Thing is with kids in the car sometimes we have to switch phones for different playback options. I will try to see if later to change music source.
